Pseudophoenix vinifera habitat in Azua, Dominican Republic.
The Pseudophoenix vinifera grows in 4 locations on the island of Hispaniola. In the Dominican Republic it grows in the hills outside the town of Azua and it also grows near Jimani. In Haiti it survives between Poteau and Passe Reine (Dep. de l’Artibonite) and near Source Matelas (Dep. de l’Ouest). The drone video above is the population just outside Azua.

Drone video of the Cocora Valley in Quindio, Colombia, home to Ceroxylon quindiuense (the Colombian Wax Palm), the tallest palm tree in the world. The palms can grow to 200 feet in height and can be found in the Central and Eastern Andes of Colombia at elevations between 2,000 and 3,100 meters (6,600 and 10,200 feet).
