SpaceX Orbit Largest Spacecraft In History also SpaceX Destroy Largest Spacecraft In History.
SpaceX's 3rd flight of Starship was spectacular, even though it's the first such flight without any explosions. It was also a step forward for the space company making it a success, but far from a complete success as both booster and Starship failed to control themselves all the way to landing, and at least one on Orbit test - the engine relight failed. The starship on orbit failed to maintain attitude during the initial reentry phase and this doomed the spacecraft to a fiery disintegration over the Indian Ocean. Congratulations to SpaceX on setting new records - let's get some soft landings next time.
We're still waiting for the planets to align to go out and get more science, instead we entertain ourselves by attempting to clone NASA's Space Shuttle, which is of course hard to do for all sorts of technical reasons. But this is a pretty good approximation.

With the bad guys (well they may not be bad, but they're my enemy so I'll call them bad) heading into my territory, we need to do something to win this war.

It took centuries for the people on Earth to decide on a common meridian to measure longitude from, but other planets also need everyone to agree about the origins of their mapping systems. In the case of the terrestrial planets a single bright spot was chosen in the early stages of exploration, and as maps improved the exact location is defined with increasing accuracy. For tidally locked moons the meridian is defined based on orientation relative to the parent body, but even then there's a lot of room for improvement as data improves.
Finally some bodies are just not suited to spherical coordinated, because they're not particularly spherical.

NASA's new rocket has been in development for over a decade, arguably it's a soft continuation from the Constellation program using the 5 segment boosters and Orion capsule that began development in 2005. It's been a slow, expensive ride with the contractors milking their cost plus contracts for their one benefit.
But now, it's on the pad, closed out and ready to launch as early as Monday morning on a trip around the moon that will test the rocket during launch and the spacecraft in space for 6 weeks before returning to earth with a make or break test of the heat shield and other recovery systems.

The New experimental release adds rotating planets and an airless body orbiting the kearth called the Mun - after a bit of trial and error I get into munar orbit, and return the kosmonauts safely to their home planet.

After all those missteps terraforming worlds I finally convert a planet to something more useful, in time to realise that I don't really need the tech any more as my species becomes more adaptable.

In sci-fi the idea of an asteroid base is a common trope, we see them in The Expanse and in Elite: Dangerous. However, spinning up an asteroid leads to all sorts of problems and challenges, so let's crunch the numbers....
Edit: made a bit of an oopsie with my first slide on radiation pressure, it shouldn't say 'Yarkovsky' effect.
