Finding the Last Powder Stashes From Our Big Storm at Stevens Pass
As our final big snowstorm comes to an end, the powder stashes in the resort are pretty much toast. We decided to hike around Stevens Pass a bit to see if there's anything left on the outskirts.
Sure enough, we found an awesome run! That run was worth all the effort, it was so good.
We are now headed to Tahoe and will be checking out Northstar, Heavenly, and Kirkwood on the Epic Pass.

Over the past couple of decades, we have seen a big increase in neurotransmitter dysfunction ranging from anxiety and depression, to Alzheimer’s and even Schizophrenia. The 4 main neurotransmitters that we pay attention to are:

This is where Amino Acid Therapy starts to shine. The focus with AAT is to find the necessary amino acids to help build the proper neurotransmitters for any symptom you may have.
How Can Amino Acid Therapy Improve Neurotransmitter Function
Amino acids are needed to build neurotransmitters. Naturally, our bodies will break down dietary protein into the necessary amino acids to produce the neurotransmitters. However, in most cases, people aren’t consuming the right proteins or they aren’t fully digesting proteins.
With Amino Acid Therapy, the practitioner understands that certain amino acids are used to build certain neurotransmitters. By taking a look at your symptoms, they can pinpoint the most likely amino acids you would need, then they test it on you right in their office. This gives you immediate answers to the amino acids you need to improve your brain chemistry!

Mount Baring may be one of the toughest short hikes you can find in the Highway 2 corridor. It covers about 4200' in elevation over just a few miles, with an 1800' climb directly from the parking lot to wake you up.
Mount Baring has always been a good training ground for me because of the elevation gain. The trail is in much better shape now than it used to be.

Somehow we really screwed up our driving directions and instead of starting at the trailhead near Sunrise, we ended up at the State Route 123 trailhead, adding a few extra miles to our trip.
This hike is going to be much better when all the wildflowers are blooming. We caught the tail end of the flowers, plus the poor weather gave us mediocre views.
That being said, there is enough visual stimulation along the hike to keep us entertained!
