Raising Your Setpoints: Conferences & Meetup Groups
I've talked innumerous times about raising your setpoints. It all started when I decided to talk about friends and how the people you surround yourself with will definitely have a big influence in your life. Jim Rohn said that very well in a famous quote of his that states:
"You are the average of the five people you spend the most time with."
So, it basically says that you are the average of the five people you spend the most time with, which means that your results will end up being the average of those people.
If you were not aware of this, this can be a good thing, because now you realize that your results are on the same level as these people.
So, you might be wondering "how do I change my setpoints?". One of most common ways of changing and raising your setpoints is hanging with different people. I've already talked about friends and now I want to talk about conferences and meetup groups and how it plays a great part in raising your setpoints.

My Boss Pays For My Education But I Don't Want To Stay
Have you ever been in that position? You want to quit your job and suddenly you receive an unexpected offer that makes you doubt yourself.
In today's video, I have received a question from a reader saying that he wanted to quit his job but his boss just offered to pay for his education. He thinks it would be a good option to stay since it would be a less expensive route for him.
On the other hand, he also feels like this is going to take up a lot of his time since he does not see a future for traditional education and he does not want to go this route.
So, what should he do? Should he stick to his job or quit, even though the offer seems compelling? Watch this video and find out!

"How to Fail at Almost Everything and Still Win Big" Book Review
Failure is part of everyone's life. We all experience failure in some areas of our lives to some degree. And still, a lot of people react to it as a bad thing.
This is why I decided to do a review about this book. "How to Fail at Almost Everything and Still Win Big" is a wonderful book that covers this specific topic. The author shares his story of how many times he have failed and how he was still able to find success in a lot of areas of his life.
Here is the book description extracted from Amazon:
"Everything you want out of life is in that bubbling vat of failure. The trick is to get the good stuff out.
Scott Adams has likely failed at more things than anyone you've ever met, including his corporate career, his inventions, his investments, and two restaurants. So how did he go from hapless office worker to the creator of Dilbert, one of the world's most famous syndicated comic strips, in just a few years?
In this funny yet serious book full of personal stories, Adams shares the strategies he has used to invite failure in, embrace it, then pick its pocket. Among his contrarian lessons:
• Goals are for losers. Systems are for winners.
• A combination of mediocre skills can make you surprisingly valuable.
• You can manage your odds in a way that makes you look lucky to others"

Self-Sabotage: Neglecting Your Success
Self-Sabotage... I know you've probably heard this many many times before, especially in the self-help and personal development world.
Self-Sabotage could be defined as:
"Behavior is said to be self-sabotaging when it creates problems and interferes with long-standing goals. The most common self-sabotaging behaviors are procrastination, self-medication with drugs or alcohol, comfort eating, and forms of self-injury such as cutting. These acts may seem helpful in the moment, but they ultimately undermine us, especially when we engage in them repeatedly."
It is tend to say that why you self-sabotage yourself you start to neglect your own success...
Watch this video and find out why this behavior is definitely something you should be aware of in your life and why you'll never be successful if you continue to self-sabotage yourself.
