Final Fantasy IV: The After Years [PC] #033, Kain: Octokraken; Dragoon Reawakened
This is video #033 in my playthrough of Final Fantasy IV: The After Years for the PC. This is episode 4 of Kain's Tale: Return of the Dragoon.

Previously, Ceodore and the Hooded Man visited Kaipo and explored most of the Underground Waterway on their way to Damcyan. Meanwhile, Kain himself reached Damcyan. Now, Ceodore and the Hooded Man will continue on their way.
Overworld:
Ceodore and the Hooded Man resume outside the entrance to the second portion of the Underground Waterway. Before heading in, they use another Tent to make it a waxing moon, which will reduce the power of Black Magic. They enter the dungeon.
Underground Waterway (time 0:35):
The party starts at the Underground Falls. A scene takes place when they reach the edge of the falls. They decide to drop down.
Damcyan Castle (time 1:23):
Cut to Kain in Damcyan Castle's Throne Room. Some drama takes place with Edward and Rosa.
Then, Kain has to fight Edward! Trying to attack Rosa is useless. Edward will go down after two or three Jump attacks, depending on moon phase.
Another scene takes place afterwards. Yikes!
Underground Waterway (time 5:25):
Cut to Ceodore and the Hooded Man on floor B2 of the Underground Lake.
Ceodore reaches Level 30.
On the southern ledge, chests contain a Potion and a Heavenly Wrath.
In the northwest, the party continues upstairs to floor B1.
In the southeast, chests contain a Phoenix Down and a Hi-Potion.
A scene takes place as the party approaches the northern exit. Really? Another killer squid?
After the scene, it is boss time against the Octokraken! It comes with four Octoleeches, which are pairs of tentacles. The concept is similar to the Cooler Mammoth boss in Porom's Tale. The Octoleeches can cast -ara spells and use physical attacks. The Octokraken can regenerate any defeated Octoleeches at will.
The party can slow down the enemies' damage output with a Spider Silk at the start of battle. Then, they focus down the Octokraken itself with Cross Slash. During a waxing moon, it is easy to withstand the enemies' magic.
At the end of the battle, the Hooded Man reaches Level 30.
A scene takes place afterwards.
The party leaves the waterway.
Overworld (time 14:29):
Cutscenes take place as the party emerges. Eventually, we regain control of the party. First, they check out the Enterprise.

No one is aboard, so the party goes back ashore.

The party goes east to the Antlion's Den.

A scene takes place in the Antlion's Den. The party automatically goes back outside.

Previously, Heorot made a few attempts to defeat the second form of Hades for Seekers of Adoulin Mission 5-4-1: "Abomination". In this video, he will make another attempt on Hades. Then, he will continue grinding Job Points as Red Mage in Escha - Ru'Aun. He has earned a total of 338 Job Points as Red Mage so far.
Heorot resumes in his Mog House in Bastok. He is currently a Red Mage/White Mage. In his Delivery Box, he receives gil for a Riftborn Boulder and six chunks of Beitetsu that sold at auction. Many thanks to the buyers!
Heorot exits to Port Bastok.
Port Bastok (time 1:29):
Heorot visits the Curio Vendor Moogle at K-12 and picks up another serving of Fruit Parfait. Then, he teleports to Home Point #1 in the Ra'Kaznar Inner Court, Ra'Kaznar.
Ra'Kaznar Inner Court (time 2:40):
Heorot arrives at I-8 on Map 2. He takes the Vertical Transit Device to the Ra'Kaznar Turris.
Ra'Kaznar Turris (time 3:46):
Heorot goes down the ramps and examines the Ominous Postern. He chooses the "Abomination" battlefield. The "Awakened Crystallized Psyche" temporary key item is consumed.
"Abomination" Battlefield (time 6:15):
Heorot and his Trust NPCs work with Arciela and Teodor to confront the second form of Hades. This is the fourth attempt.
For some reason, Hades' HP bar is not shown. He uses a lot of AOE attacks, including knockbacks. His attacks get nastier as his HP dwindles. Arciela and Teodor must be kept alive to win the battle. It seems that the players' Cure spells do not work on Teodor, which complicates things. Hades has a move that inflicts Silence and one that inflicts Petrify. He rotates his elemental affinity. However, Teodor tends to cast spells that Hades is currently weak to.
It sure would be nice if healing items could be used on Trust NPCs.
The battle ends in failure when Arciela is defeated.
Ra'Kaznar Turris (time 30:16):
Heorot takes the elevator back up to the Ra'Kaznar Inner Court.
Ra'Kaznar Inner Court (time 31:32):
Heorot emerges at I-8 on Map 2. He automatically receives another "Awakened Crystallized Psyche" temporary key item.
Heorot teleports to Port Bastok.
Port Bastok (time 32:00):
Heorot visits the Curio Vendor Moogle at K-12 and picks up more Hi-Elixirs. Then, he enters the Residential Area to restore his HP and MP.
Mog House (time 33:54):
Heorot goes back outside.

Heorot teleports to Misareaux Coast, Tavnazian Archipelago.
Misareaux Coast (time 34:37):
Heorot arrives at Home Point #1 at G-5. Just up the hill, he examines the Undulating Confluence to enter Escha - Ru'Aun.
Escha - Ru'Aun (time 35:16):
Heorot arrives at H-11. After summoning his Trust NPCs, he heads north and hunts some Eschan Il'aern.
Heorot accrues 4 Job Points for an overall total of 342 Job Points earned as Red Mage. He has a current total of 6 Job Points.
When he has finished for now, he uses the Undulating Confluence at H-11 to return to Misareaux Coast, Tavnazian Archipelago.
Misareaux Coast (time 1:09:48):
Heorot arrives at G-5. Just down the hill to the west, he uses Home Point #1 to teleport to Port Jeuno.
Port Jeuno (time 1:10:25):
Heorot trades his Crests to Shami at H-8 for storage.
Then, he teleports to Bastok Markets.
Bastok Markets (time 1:12:17):
Heorot trades his Copper A.M.A.N. Voucher to Isakoth at E-11. In Mjoll's Goods, he sells his loot to Olwyn at E-11.
Then, he teleports to Bastok Mines.
Bastok Mines (time 1:13:51):
At the auction house, Heorot puts three chunks of Beitetsu and four Plutons up for sale.
Then, he enters the Residential Area.
Mog House (time 1:16:30):
Heorot signs off. Next time, he will defeat the second form of Hades.

Previously, the party began "The Finale of the Hero and the Witch", the substory quest line in Fake Melsandy Village. They started by visiting Panino the minstrel in Fake Melsandy Village and undertaking Quest 242: "The Story Begins to Move". They helped save Zankrone from the Haunted Tomato Army, Gretel the Witch's trap in the Mysterious Waterway. Panino revealed to the party that he is a viewpoint character that Panpanini, the author of the Zankrone tales, wrote to represent himself. The Zankrone tales are being continued by Panpanini's granddaughter, Airi. However, after they concluded the quest, Gretel cast a spell on the people of Fake Melsandy to make them hate Zankrone, depriving him of their strength. Afterwards, they carried out Quest 243: "The Witch Cackles Loudly". They helped Panino gather the ingredients for Zankrone Bread, and then they took the bread to Zankrone at the Deserted Shrine in the Fake Melsandy Granaries. As he ate, Zankrone told the party his story. Now, the party will wrap up the substory quest line in Fake Melsandy.
Fake Melsandy Village (time 0:31):
The party resumes in the church in Fake Melsandy Village. Anlucia installs some Skill Up Panels in her Character Builder.
At D-4/E-4, the party talks to Panino. Panino issues Quest 244: "The Hero Saves Everything", the third quest in Melsandy's substory quest line, "The Finale of the Hero and the Witch". Zankrone has not gone after the witch yet, and Panino is worried that Airi is in a slump. However, he has a solution. He gives the Panpanini Notebook (パンパニーニノート) key item to the party and asks them to deliver them to Airi in Real Melsandy.
The party Zooms to Real Melsandy Village.
Real Melsandy Village (time 7:33):
The party enters the Faerie Tale Writer's House at D-2 in the north of town. Upstairs, they talk to Airi in her room. She is uncertain about what ending she should put in the Zankrone story. The party gives her the Panpanini Notebook. It contains Panpanini's setting notes. As she reads them an idea comes to her. The party leaves the room so she can get to work on the ending. The next objective is to report to Panino in Fake Melsandy.
The party Zooms to Fake Melsandy Village.
Fake Melsandy Village (time 9:36):
At D-4/E-4, the party talks to Panino. The story has started again. Zankrone has left to confront the witch at the Midnight Banquet Hall in the Fake Witchwood. However, since the witch has charmed the villagers, Zankrone is not receiving their hopes, so Panino is worried about his chances. Obviously, the party's next objective is to follow him to the Midnight Banquet Hall.
The party Zooms to the Fake Rhone Forest - Woods destination.
Fake Rhone Forest (time 11:04):
At E-3/F-3, the party exits east to the Fake Witchwood (偽りの魔女の森).
Fake Witchwood (time 11:28):
The party starts at B-7 in the southwest. Since they have yet to visit this convoluted area in Fake Rendashia, they will explore it now.
The sign at the entrance is not encouraging: "If you value your life, do not enter the Witchwood. But if you really have to, ... follow the lights."
At G-3, a red chest on the lower path contains a Demon Whip (あくまのムチ). This whip has a 4% chance to charm demon-family monsters when attacking.
The player earns the accolade "Fake Rendashia Hunter" for opening 150 chests in Fake Rendashia.
On a plateau at C-6, a red chest contains 2 Red Eyes (レッドアイ).
At B-7/C-7 on the southwestern plateau, a red chest contains a Green Orb (グリーンオーブ).
At D-6, a red chest on a plateau contains a Mythic Beast Bone (幻獣のホネ).
At C-4, a black chest on the lower path contains a Purple Orb (パープルオーブ). The gate just north of this chest is one that opens.
On a plateau at C-3, a red chest contains 3 Softworts (きつけそう).
On a plateau in the northeast, a black chest at F-3 contains a Dark Pole (なげきのこん). This weapon has a 2% chance to inflict on-hit confusion when attacking.
In the north, the party examines the crystal at E-1/E-2. This adds the Fake Midnight Banquet Hall destination to the Zoom Stone.
In the Midnight Banquet Hall's courtyard, a black chest at D-1/E-1 contains 5 Labyrinth Coin Fragments (迷宮コインの破片).
Before they enter the banquet hall, the party Zooms to Fake Melsandy Village to rest up.

This is video #041 in my playthrough of Final Fantasy IV for the PC. This is episode 1 of the second playthrough. I am playing on Hard mode.

Previously, the party defeated Zeromus and cleared the game! However, during the first playthrough, the superbosses, Geryon and Proto-babil, were not available. We will have to play through the game again and earn more augments to have a chance at beating them. In fact, the player can do up to three consecutive playthroughs in a chain. In a New Game+, you can carry over any augments, Onion gear, Adamant Armor, or tails from the previous playthrough. The Dark Matter carries over, if you stole it from Zeromus. Map completion is also carried over.
Also, the game's user interface was updated on November 5, 2020. The videos from here on reflect that update.
To start a New Game+, I load my Completion Data save. This time, I choose to play the game on Hard mode. The game's opening scenes play again. Cecil delivers the Water Crystal to Baron. For speaking his mind, he is awarded with demotion. He and Kain get assigned to slay the monster of Mist and deliver the Bomb Ring, er, Carnelian Signet.
Baron Castle (time 7:53):
After the scenes, we gain control of Cecil the Dark Knight on floor 2F of Baron Castle. As before, he starts at Level 10. However, he retains access to all his augments from the prior playthrough, including the powered-up ???'s Love. He sets that up right away, along with Draw Attacks and Counter.
Cecil starts with a full set of Dark equipment. Sadly, as a Dark Knight, he cannot equip the Onion Sword. Fortunately, with ???'s Love, he won't need it right away. Besides, Kain will be able to equip the sword.
A scene takes place when Cecil talks to Kain on floor 2F.
In the entrance hall on 1F, Cecil goes into the eastern treasure room. He opens the three treasure chests for: 480 gil, an Ether, and a Tent.
A scene introducing Rosa takes place as Cecil goes through the west hall.
As Cecil approaches the entrance to the West Tower, a scene introduces Cid.
In Cecil's Bedchamber atop the West Tower, more scenes take place when Cecil decides to go to bed. First, Rosa speaks with him at night. Then, Cecil and Kain team up and head out on their mission. Good stuff.
Overworld (time 29:26):
After the scene, we gain control of Cecil and Kain on the Overworld outside Baron Castle.
Kain the Dragoon joins at Level 10. He starts with a Spear and a set of Iron gear. Kain equips the Onion Sword carried over from the previous playthrough. He also equips the abilities Kick, Focus, and Phoenix.
The party turns around and reenters Baron Castle.

Previously, Davilas wrapped up the Version 3.2 storyline. He explored the Holy Ice Crystal Tower, defeated the boss, and acquired the Ice Unlocking Disk. He used the disk at the Disk Ruins in the White Frost Drifts and opened the way to the next province of Nadragand. Now, he will carry out a story quest, Quest 412. Then, he will move on to the new province and start the Version 3.3 story in earnest.
Davilas resumes in his house in the Azlan housing area. Upon logging in, he reaches Minstrel Level 103 and earns 4 skill points. He is now eligible for the next level limit quest, but I want to research it before undertaking it.
Outside his house, Davilas checks his mail and receives gold for items that sold on the bazaar. Many thanks to the buyers! At the bank, Davilas deposits some money and items.
When he is ready to go, he Zooms to Ejarna.
Holy City of Ejarna (time 3:54):
Davilas enters Nadraga Temple at E-2.
Upstairs in the temple, he enters Estela's quarters at D-3. Within, he talks to Estela. Before Davilas can get started on the Version 3.3 story, he must visit Clodge at the Disk Ruins northeast of Ether Village in the Eternal Ice Field. This will unlock a hub of sorts for Nadragand.
Davilas leaves Estela's room. In the courtyard, he Zooms to Ether Village in the Ice Continent.
Ether Village (time 8:28):
Davilas exits at D-7 to the Eternal Ice Field.
Eternal Ice Field (time 8:53):
Davilas makes his way northeast to the Disk Ruins that lead back to the Fire Province. At the Disk Ruins, he talks to Clodge at G-1. Clodge issues Quest 412: "From the Abyss to the Everlasting World". Davilas must investigate the new teleportal that has appeared nearby.
At G-1, Davilas takes the teleportal.
Chamber of Invitation (time 13:17):
Davilas arrives at D-1 in the Chamber of Invitation (いざないの間). There is an exit to Ejarna in the south, and there are five teleportal platforms on the main circle. The only teleportal that is active currently is the one that leads to the Ice Province.

Previously, the party began gathering materials for the Soothing Breath X gem. Hunting Lubon Quarmu and Mammon Quarmu south of Vinisog Holm in the Erythia Sea, they gathered Marble Quarmu Meat and most of the Rich Quarmu Sea Milk needed. Now, after they finish gathering Rich Quarmu Sea Milk, they will hunt the Littlefort Morley on Needle Reef Beach for Sweet Pagul Bodies. Then, they will gather Obsidian Kananus Manes from Eruno Kananuses near the end of Origin. When that is done, they will craft Soothing Breath X.

The party resumes at the Vinisog Holm Camp in the Erythia Sea, Cadensia Region. They start with 5 Sweet Pagul Bodies, 25 Obsidian Kananus Manes, and 23 bottles of Rich Quarmu Sea Milk.
The party boards the Bravery. They sail to the rocky area just south of Vinisog Holm and hunt Mammon Quarmu for Rich Quarmu Sea Milk. Naturally, the elite Mammon Quarmu in the middle of the area is a good hunting target for a high-level party.
After some hunting, the party finishes gathering 30 bottles of Rich Quarmu Sea Milk of the correct rarity.
The party skip travels to the Littlefort Morley grave on Needle Reef Beach in the south of Erythia Sea. They hunt the Littlefort Morley for Sweet Pagul Bodies.
Sena temporarily changes her class to Soulhacker. After defeating the Littlefort Morley, the Soulhacker learns the class art Cavalry. Sena changes her class back to Martial Artist before the party continues hunting.
After a while, the party finishes gathering 30 Sweet Pagul Bodies of the correct rarity.
The party skip travels to Vinisog Holm Camp and check the gem crafting list.
Then, they skip travel to the Arms Storage Tower, Lower, landmark in Central Defense, Origin. They hunt Eruno Kananuses for Obsidian Kananus Manes. Since they have 25 of the item to start with, the hunt does not take too long.
After a little bit, the party finishes gathering 30 Obsidian Kananus Manes of the correct rarity.
The party skip travels to the Upper Storage Tower rest spot. They craft the Soothing Breath X gem. They also pin the next gem they will work on, Lifesaving Expertise X. It appears they have a good start on this one already.
The party saves. Next time, they will begin gathering ingredients for the Lifesaving Expertise X gem.

Previously, Davilas began the Version 7.0 story "The Story of Munieka Town". He and Polte traveled east from the Place of Beginning across the Munieka Region. When they reached Munieka Town, they met Estela and Nabret. They found the town seemingly happy. In fact, folks were twirling and dancing. However, I was suspicious right away. When Davilas went to meet Mayor Eduardo, the mayor's Mecha-Mynah-family bird, Chupi flew off, so Davilas went to retrieve it. Eduardo held a celebration afterwards, but unfortunately, Davilas's group was drugged and captured! Davilas and Polte escaped the room where they were confined. At Eduardo's House, they found the door to the basement locked. Based on advice from Dorotea, they gathered info in town to open the lock. Now, Davilas will go to the basement of Eduardo's House to rescue Estela and Nabret.

Previously, Heorot continued grinding in Escha - Ru'Aun. He has earned a total of 52 Job Points as Red Mage. In this video, he will do some more grinding.
Heorot resumes in his Mog House in Bastok. He picks up some Merit Point upgrades. In his delivery box, he receives gil for a chunk of Eschite Ore and two Riftborn Boulders that sold at auction. Thank you to the buyers! Then, he heads out.
Bastok Mines (time 2:28):
At the auction house, Heorot puts two Plutons up for sale. Then, he teleports to Misareaux Coast, Tavnazian Archipelago.
Misareaux Coast (time 4:05):
Heorot arrives at Home Point #1 at G-5. Just up the hill, he examines the Undulating Confluence to enter Escha - Ru'Aun.
Escha - Ru'Aun (time 4:43):
Heorot arrives at H-11. After summoning his Trust NPCs, he heads north and hunts some more Eschan Il'aern.
Heorot accrues 1 Job Point for an overall total of 53 Job Points earned. He has a current total of 2 Job Points.
When he has finished for now, he uses the Undulating Confluence at H-11 to return to Misareaux Coast, Tavnazian Archipelago.
Misareaux Coast (time 1:10:22):
Heorot arrives at G-5. Just down the hill to the west, he uses Home Point #1 to teleport to Port Jeuno.
Port Jeuno (time 1:10:56):
Heorot trades his Crests to Shami at H-8 for storage.
Then, he teleports to Bastok Markets.

Heorot trades his Copper A.M.A.N. Vouchers to Isakoth at E-11. In Mjoll's Goods, he sells his loot to Olwyn at E-11.
Then, he teleports to Bastok Mines.

At the auction house, Heorot puts a chunk of Eschite Ore and two more Plutons up for sale.
When he has finished, Heorot enters the residential area.

Welcome to my playthrough of Dragon Quest III: The Seeds of Salvation for the Nintendo Switch!

The Nintendo Switch version of Dragon Quest III is a re-release of the mobile version. In my opinion, it is currently the most accessible release for North American players. It has may of the additions of the Super NES and GameBoy Color versions, such as the bottomless bag, the personality system, Mini Medals, and a bonus dungeon. However, this version does not have Parchisi/T 'n' T or monster medals.
In this video, I start the game and name my character Davilas. The game opens with a dream sequence. Davilas is posed a series of questions to determine his starting personality. Personality influences stat growth in this game. Do not worry if you do not get the exact personality type you want. There are other ways to change personality in the game, and some personality types are not available to the Hero at the start. Following the quiz, Davilas earns the Lone Wolf personality.
Aliahan (time 8:58):
After the dream sequence, a scene takes place in Davilas's house. It sounds like today is a big day. Davilas starts as a Level 1 Hero. He comes equipped with a Copper Sword and a set of Wayfarer's Clothes.
When Davilas gains control in his room, he opens the chest of drawers for a Seed of Strength. This can be used to permanently increase a character's Strength stat.
When he approaches his mother, another scene takes place. She leads him out of the house and to the castle entrance. She will not let him go anywhere else for now.
There is a side entrance in the northeast of the castle, but the side door is locked.
Davilas goes into the main entrance of Aliahan Castle. There are numerous NPCs to chat with. However, there are numerous tantalizing doors that he cannot open yet. Through the eastern door in the northern courtyard, he can reach the corridor to the prison. One of the prisoners, Kirk Buzzer, has useful info regarding Davilas's first quest.
In the southeast of 1F, Davilas can enter a room with a couple of barrels. One barrel contains Mini Medal #001! The other barrel contains an Antidotal Herb, a consumable that cures one party member of poison.
Directly north of the castle entrance, a stairway leads to floor 2F. In the southwest room, a chest of drawers contains a Seed of Luck.
Note the minstrel who sings about the Promontory Passage. That will be an upcoming location.
Following his mom's instructions, Davilas talks to the King of Aliahan. Davilas's mission is to hunt down Baramos, the Archfiend. Before setting out on his journey, though, the young Hero should recruit some able assistance from Patty's Party Planning Place. The King issue

Davilas is currently working on the Version 6.2 storyline. Previously, after visiting Mitlar in the Folion Heavenly Temple, he went to the temple's Garden of Reincarnation to meet Hervel. Then, he went to the Ash-White Pillar in the Wilderness of Trials. Hervel showed him the Heavenly Lens in the pillar. Davilas returned to the Folion Development Land to gather the Recta Ore. He took back to the Ash-White Pillar so the Heavenly Lens could start repairing the Divine Sword Rectalis. Now, he will take the Gate to the Eternal Temple and explore the Ally's Void.
Davilas resumes in his house in the Azlan housing area. Outside, he checks his mail and receives gold for items that sold on the bazaar. Many thanks to the buyers!
Afterwards, Davilas uses the Soul Candlestick to teleport to the middle level of Folion.
Divine Capital Folion (time 1:53):
Davilas visits the bank on the middle level of town and deposits most of his gold.
Then, he uses the Soul Candlestick to teleport to the north of the Folion Outskirts.
Folion Outskirts (time 3:00):
Davilas flies to the northern island and takes the Gate to the Eternal Temple at D-1/E-1. It transports him to the Ally's Void (盟友の虚無).
Ally's Void (time 4:03):
A scene takes place as Davilas and Yuraiza arrive in the Ally's Void. Some other Celestrians have arrived but have run into problems. Looks like it's up to Davilas and Yuraiza.
After the scene, Davilas gains control at E-6 on the first level of the area. He uses the nearby Teleportation Cauldron at D-6 to add a new destination to the Soul Candlestick.
As Davilas approaches the statue at D-5, a scene takes place. He will have to solve a puzzle to open the way north. The first step is to examine the three statues that are firing beams at the barrier.
At D-4, there is a circular panel on the floor. These panels can be used to open the doors in this dungeon. Davilas can rotate the first one once to open the first door.
Just to the north, the statue of Ashley is at D-4/E-4. Davilas examines it to obtain the Connected Heart (つながる心) key item.
At the panel north of Ashley's statue, Davilas turns east. A black chest at E-5 contains a True Illusion Lords Medal (真・幻界諸侯メダル).
A black chest at E-3 contains a Mysterious Steel Wire (神秘の鋼線).
Davilas returns to the panel north of Ashley's statue at D-4. He opens the west door and takes the path to the west.
At D-5, a black chest contains a Brave Belt (剛勇のベルト) accessory.
The path leads Davilas to the third circular panel north of Ashley's statue at D-4/E-4. He opens the east door and takes the path east.
At F-3, Davilas examines the statue of Azir. He obtains the Dedicated Heart (ひたむきな心) key item.
Davilas returns to the third circular panel north of Ashley's statue at D-4/E-4. He rotates it to open the north door.
At the fourth panel at D-3/E-3, he rotates it to open the north and west doors. He takes the western path.
At C-3, Davilas examines the statue of Garnihan. He obtains the Undeterred Heart (くじけぬ心) key item. This triggers a cutscene.
Davilas goes east to the sixth panel north of Ashley's statue at D-3/E-3. He turns north and examines the sword in front of the barrier. He obtains the Innocent Hero's Sword (無垢なる勇者の剣) key item.
Returning to the sixth panel, Davilas rotates it to open the door leading south. He goes one room south to the fifth panel at D-3/E-3. He rotates it to open the west door. Down the stairs to the west, he opens a black chest at D-3 for a chunk of Dark Night Magic Stone (暗夜の魔石).
Davilas uses the Soul Candlestick to return to the Teleportation Cauldron at D-6.
He goes down and examines the statue of young Leone at D-5/E-5. He puts the Innocent Hero's Sword in its hand. The statue starts firing a beam north from the sword. The doors reset. Davilas must now open a clear path for the sword beam to reach the barrier.
Davilas examines the floor panel at D-4/E-4 just north of Leone's statue to open the first door. He examines the first floor panel north of Ashley's statue at D-4/E-4 to make the red marker face west. He goes through the passage to the west.
At the third floor panel north of Ashley's statue at D-4/E-4, Davilas turns the red marker south to open the southern door. He turns the second floor panel with blue facing south to open the door to the first panel. Then, he turns the third floor panel with the red marker north to open the northern door.
