The Radomizer doesn't start until I have both a Pokedex and Pokeballs. 2. When entering a new route I either have to catch or faint that encounter. (If it is a Pokemon I already have or a random Legendary appears that isn't meant to be there as part of the game, I get to go for another attempt until I encounter a new Pokemon.) 3. Your Pokemon faints it is classed as dead and must go into the PC as it is no longer able to battle.
