This is my first ever attempt at a Drum and Bass mix, unfortunately I don't own a nice DJ setup, so I settled for using kdenlive to produce this mix and did some simple transitions, it's not the same as actually mixing with DJ equipment, but I'm happy with the finished product. All the tracks, samples and artwork were hand picked and manually put together, this is not a repost.
I'm not uploading this to YouTube because their copyright system is broken and vague, I'm not in the mood to deal with it.
Anyways enjoy the mix! More tech content coming soon.

Hey guys, finally got my rice ported to the new HP EliteDesk PC. You can see a massive performance boost. I briefly demo a game in OpenBSD ports called WRATH: Aeon of Ruin, which is available on Steam. Then I discussed the future of the channel and the direction I want to take it in. Finally at the end I also showcase my dotfile repo on notabug. Enjoy!
*I meant to upload this at 1080p but kdenlive pulled a fast one on me. Gotta check the project settings it will change it automatically based on the recorded screen resolution. Oh well, you live and you learn.

Hello guys! Short video today. I'm am concerned about using so called "no copyright" services on Youtube. I'm in the process of learning how to make my own music in GNU/Linux using FOSS tools like Ardour, vital, Bespoke synth, etc. If you create music, any kind of music (no cuss words), I will take submission via email and promote it on the channel. Submission guidelines in the video. Thanks guys! Have an awesome rest of your week!
Also this is the first video I ever rendered using OpenBSD's kdenlive on my laptop. So this video was almost 100% produced using OpenBSD on the CPU, no VMs. I don't use VMs for OpenBSD. The only exception is that I still record audio on my Pinephone until I can find/afford a good USB audio mic that can interface well with OpenBSD.
If you like my work and want to support it, I created a Patreon! https://www.patreon.com/rootbsd

What's happening nerds?!
My new setup is ready. Multibooting like this is a pain to setup, mostly in learning the quirks of guided installers. BSD's are booted through chainloading UEFI firmware. For OpenBSD it's BOOTX64.EFI, for HardenedBSD (FreeBSD) it's /boot/loader_4th.efi

Run down of my desktop OpenBSD partition using CWM, xterm and tmux. Really neat system, very straightforward and utilitarian, and maybe even slightly boring, but that's OK!

Hello everyone! In this video I unbox some hardware sent to me by RetroEdgeTech. He repairs computers and was super kind to send me some hardware. May God bless you and your family @retroedgetech. Also this was a not-fun OpenBSD install. Ran into tons of problems, learned valuable lessons, enjoy!
