Where shadows wove,
Two souls entwined in fateful love.
Young Romeo, fair and Juliet, bright,
Their hearts aflame in passion's light.
A feud of houses, Capulet and Montague,
Brought forth a curse, their love to subdue.
Yet, 'gainst the odds, they met one night,
Under moon's gaze, in secret's respite.
Their whispers soft, like autumn's breeze,
Love's sweet solace amid ancient trees.
With vows exchanged, they pledged their troth,
In clandestine bliss, their hearts betrothed.
But darkness loomed, and fate played its part,
In sorrow's grasp, it tore them apart.
A tragic twist, a grievous tale,
A bitter end that seemed too frail.
Yet Edgar's pen, a different tale to spin,
With Gothic words and a happier din.
In shadowed chambers, his quill did trace,
A tale of love, wrapped in hope's embrace.
Romeo, guided by a raven's flight,
Through cobwebbed paths, in the dead of night,
Discovered a potion, a potion so rare,
To grant him wings, to defy despair.
He brewed the elixir, a potent cure,
To shield their love, to make it endure.
And Juliet, weary of sorrow's might,
Drank from the chalice, to find the light.
Their hearts entwined, their souls aglow,
They chose to face their fate's cruel blow.
In a masquerade, they took their stand,
Two phantoms dancing, hand in hand.
With love as armor, and trust as shield,
They fought the currents, their love revealed.
The houses, shaken by love's embrace,
Forgave old grudges, ended the chase.
Romeo and Juliet, forever entwined,
In life's symphony, their love defined.
A poet's pen, with ink of gold,
Wrote their tale, where happy endings unfold.
