For those loveline fans during the peak of the show's popularity during the Adam Carolla / Dr. Drew era. These shows came from tape transfers and made into mp3 format. I did not record or transfer any of these shows, so when there's missing audio and the conversation suddenly ends in the middle of something interesting on occasion isn't my fault. Nothing I can do about it, either.
(0:00:00) 01. 1997-12-11: The guest is John Hiatt. This show has been hyped by Adam many times over the last week especially and it turns out to be a pretty solid show. I had to do a splice with an older, inferior sounding show to fill in a small portion of missing content and fix another splice or two. Hiatt leaves halfway through the second half of the show and Adam says multiple times he will be going to see him perform on Friday which he will surely talk about in Sunday's show. This is a special one for Adam, so enjoy!
(1:26:28) 02. 1997-12-14: This is a no guest show and is labeled "Adam's Debut Breaking Wind", but this isn't the first time Adam has farted on the air. This is the second time he did it where it could be heard by the mic, but still funny. He is just getting warmed up with the gas only two years into his 10 year run. Adam kinda gets going with the gas and his maniacal laughter more than in the past in this show and farts a total of three times. This is another show spliced together from multiple parts to make one whole show in the best possible quality, but once again, I had to clean up the splice points. There's still some spots that have missing/truncated audio, but I fixed what I could.
(2:59:53) 03. 1997-12-15: The guest is Lords of Acid and is incomplete at nearly 53 minutes, but entirely brand new to the archive. Most of the first half of the show is there and most of the second half is missing. This is the only known recording of this show and half of the show has a muffled sound quality to it, but it's all that exists and poor tape quality is likely to blame. Hopefully, the rest of the show will be recovered at some point.
(3:52:50) 04. 1997-12-16: The guest is David Johansen AKA Buster Poindexter and is also a brand new addition to the archive. The show is missing 5-7 minutes in the last 25 minutes of the show and there are a few quality changes throughout.

(0:00:00) 01. 1998-09-30: The guest is Royal Crown Revue and the very beginning is missing. This is the first time I've heard Adam go ballistic about McGruff the Crime Dog and a caller asks Adam what he has against guys who work around metal which he goes into in depth. In the last segment of the show, they get into PSA's and go off on that.
(1:30:50) 02. 1998-10-01: This is a no guest show and is missing the beginning, but picks up right in the middle of a heavy calls with a disturbing first sentence. Adam gets into ripping his favorite song "Maneater" and also rips on several Don Henley songs and Huey Lewis. I don't think these songs are as horrible as Adam does as I think they are catchy songs, but not great songs.
On Maneater (Wiki): John Oates has explained that while it is natural to assume the lyrics are about a woman, the song actually was originally written "about NYC in the ’80s. It's about greed, avarice, and spoiled riches. But we have it in the setting of a girl because it's more relatable. It's something that people can understand. That's what we do all of the time"
(3:09:27) 03. 1998-10-04: The guest is Cypress Hill. This is an overall great show as the guys are solid guests though it's not as good as their other appearances were/would be. Still, a solid listen.

(0:00:00) 01. 2004-03-09: The guest is Ty Pennington.
(1:34:06) 02. 2004-03-10: This is a no guest show.
(3:07:40) 03. 2004-03-11: The guest is Will Sasso.

(0:00:00) 01. 1996-01-22: Guest is Mike Muir of the band Cyco Miko and Suicidal Tendencies. It was only a matter of time before they started having technical difficulties with the cans and the way Mike fixed it is just typical of that place. I really hope to hear his very first tirade against the dump they work in one of these shows. Also, Ann tells a caller how to masturbate using the bathtub faucet in quite a bit of detail and another call which features three Drew drop origins that are used in making the Drew Boogie and Shuffle. They are one right after the other pretty much. Caller Gary is very entertaining.
(0:42:02) 02. 1996-01-23: Guest is Iggy Pop. Not much to write home about in this one, but there is some interesting chatter.
(1:26:30) 03. 1996-01-24: This is a Best of Loveline compilation show, so lots of good stuff in here. Whole show.
(3:03:19) 04. 1996-01-25: Guests are The Pharcyde in the first half of the show and Jeremy McGrath for the second half. Pharcyde are kind of annoying, but it's not too bad. Drew is a little edgy and gets irritated with all the talking between Adam and them and just wants to get back to taking calls. Jeremy and Adam get along well just as always when he comes on the show.
(3:50:31) 05. 1996-01-29: The guest is Pamela Adlon. She is a good guest and participates in the show, but is modest and shy in a cute way. As I sometimes do, I will google a guest on the show from time to time just to see who they were and how they've been since the show and whatnot and it's interesting that she said she was single on the show and ended up getting married later that year and giving birth to her first daughter in 1997. It's funny how life can change so fast like that sometimes. Some good calls and caller Doug is a pretty funny call.

(0:00:00) 01. 2000-09-19: The guests are Joey McIntyre & Jean Louisa Kelly. Joey makes a lot of lame jokes, but still manages to be amusing. Also, the origin of one of the caller "Huh?" drops. You'll know which one since Adam makes fun of him a little. Both guests are pretty fun guests making for an entertaining show. They leave a few breaks early.
(1:34:36) 02. 2000-09-20: The guest is Elisa Donovan. This is another solid show. Adam complains about weathermen, the heat and Anderson pisses Adam off with the baby crying drop once again. Lots of funny moments where Adam and Elisa laugh a lot.
(3:09:12) 03. 2000-09-21: The guest is Michael Cooper. Adam goes on a Nike rant and Michael challenges his point. Also, a lot of Minka and Huell Howser from Adam. Very entertaining show and Michael is a decent guest as well, but leaves early.
(4:44:55) 04. 2000-09-22: The guest is Brittany Petros from Big Brother. Adam talks about the softball game he said he was going to play in when Michael Cooper was on the night before. Brittany is a decent guest making for a solid show.

(0:00:00) 01. 1998-03-29: The guest is Marne Patterson and is mostly a new addition to the archive as a 30 minute partial existed prior, but now it's complete. This is a really fun show to listen to. There's a group sing-a-long that Drew of course doesn't participate in, but it's pretty hilarious. I'm sure you've all been slightly irritated every time the show is interrupted with "Hi! I'm Robin Pierce....", but it quickly gets interrupted and stops a few seconds in. Most recently, it happened during the Semisonic live performance. This time, the whole fucking message plays right in the middle of a call. I don't remember ever hearing this message before, so it must be a new thing this month and most of these shows are new. I really hope it stops soon. Anyway, Adam kind of does his creepy "hit on the guests" thing with Marne despite her being only 17. She actually handles it quite well though I'm sure she was kinda creeped out.
(1:37:51) 02. 1998-03-30: The guest is Jesus Jones and is, you guessed it, more new content to the archive. There is some missing content before the halfway point break right in the middle of Adam yelling about the cops and his dad while telling a story. Super annoying. The end is also missing. It's easy to forget the guest is even there sometimes as he offers no advice at all, but a decent show. The timing of the missing content is just awful. Since Adam mentions he is doing Space Ghost tomorrow, here it is. It's a pretty funny episode actually. Drew's episode is 62 and Adam's is 63.

(3:06:54) 03. 1998-03-31: The guest is the Morrell Twins. This show has been around for awhile and is just shy of 72 minutes in length. This is also the show where Adam makes some comments about the band Nelson who is a guest on the show about two months later and Engineer Mike plays the clip and embarrasses the hell out of Adam. Nelson comes in just to be ambushed with this, so it's a bit of karma perhaps. The Morrell Twins will be brought up over the years as being incredibly annoying and you'll hear why here. They're not very bright and never shut up and on top of that, Adam spends the whole show trying to get them to show their tits which gets annoying after awhile and kind of sad and pathetic on Adam's part. The man has no self control. A drop gets made out of their laugh which ends up being used by Engineer Mike and later Engineer Anderson quite a lot. At the end of the show, one of the twins demands to see Adam's "cock" which should have been dropped by Engineer Mike, but I guess he missed it because it flies out over the air.
(4:18:47) 04. 1998-04-01: The guests are CART racers PJ Jones and Bryan Herta and is another new show and of course, Adam can't resist getting right into talking about cars with them and continues throughout the show. There is a LOT of car talk in this show between calls and several splice points that needed cleaning up. I really am getting good at this whole "mastering" thing and it's fun, too. Anyway, they don't contribute a lot to the calls, but it's still a solid show. The end is missing.

(0:00:00) 01. 2000-01-20: The guest is the Long Beach Dub Allstars and is a brand new addition to the archive. Anderson annoys Adam with drops less than a minute into the show. This is why Anderson is so awesome and he still hasn't gotten really confident with the drops yet. The band is forgettable, but they do laugh a lot. They don't really contribute much else to the show, but still a solid show nonetheless.
(1:29:42) 02. 2000-01-23: The guest is Static-X along with Dr. Bruce in for Drew and is another brand new addition to the archive. Unfortunately, Wayne Static is another case of an unfortunate, early death. He was found dead in November of 2014 three days shy of his 49th birthday as a result of multiple prescription drug toxicity involving the drugs oxycodone, hydromorphone, xanax and alcohol. It was also concluded that the many years of his past "chronic prescription drug and alcohol abuse" was a contributing factor.
The band turn out to be above average guests and Dr. Bruce is solid as well for most of the show. Bruce will be in for Drew all week, so there's plenty of time for things to go wrong.
(2:59:01) 03. 2000-01-24: The guest is Rabbi Schmuley Boteach with Dr. Bruce in again for Drew and is another brand new addition to the archive. Sure enough, things go wrong with Bruce in this show as he shows up late and Adam rips him a little bit, but that's only after there's mic trouble right at the top of the show. Schmuley Boteach is a solid guest. The Drew Shuffle is played along with Drew drops.
(4:34:45) 04. 2000-01-25: The guest is Carlos Mencia with Dr. Bruce in for Drew, but for the second night in a row, Bruce shows up late. Carlos is very involved with the show making for a solid guest show. The Drew Shuffle is played and some drops.

(0:00:00) 01. 1998-09-17: The guest is Andy Lauer though he was never much of a celebrity which means decent pics were hard to find. Andy talks about his trip to the north pole which is pretty interesting actually. Andy is a decent guest, but not involved all that much with calls. Still, overall solid show!
(1:37:49) 02. 1998-09-20: The guest is Seven Mary Three with this particular copy coming from Engineer Anderson himself, so it sounds really good and clear though I did increase the overall volume slightly and it was too low at times when the band was talking. The band are just your typical guest band, nothing special really. Adam talks about the Adrienne Barbeau dream he had when he was 16.
(3:11:00) 03. 1998-09-21: The guests are Michael Rosenbaum, Rebecca Gayheart and Tara Reid along with Dr. Bruce in for Drew. This is also another show directly from Anderson and Bruce also had a copy, but both were used. Bruce is awkward as usual and the guests are very active throughout the show making for a very entertaining show!

(0:00:00) 01. 2001-02-18: The guests are Bonnie Somerville & Lindsay Sloane. Drew, once again, is not in studio but he is on the line from St. Louis.
(1:36:34) 02. 2001-02-19: This is a no guest show.
(3:10:32) 03. 2001-02-20: The guest is Mark L. Walberg not to be confused with Marky-Mark.
