When I refer to your gut microbiome, I am talking about the ecosystem living within your stomach. There is a colonisation of over 100 trillion bacterial organisms living in this area of the body.
The key to longevity and remaining dis-ease free (including from hormonal imbalance disorders like PCOS) is the maintain healthy gut bacteria so that the bad bacteria does not out-favour the good bacteria.

Following a spiritual path of any kind is incredibly important at this time. The collective consciousness and the baseline frequency being held on planet earth is shifting, which means every single human being is going to be invited into their own unique expansions and transformation.
Delving into self-practices, tools and teachers who offer you insight on how to "see through the dream / illusion of reality" is incredibly important because... reality as we knew it is slowly beginning to dissolve, whether we like it or not.
If we continue to identify with our ego and hold onto an attachment of how we thought reality would play out (according to the false ideas the matrix indoctrinates us into believing) we will suffer enormously in the coming months and years, as appearances begin to shift on planet earth.
The ego death is inevitable for all of us at this time. If we are willing to detach from our ideas of reality, we will suffer much less. We can then shift into a space of sheperding the next wave of awakened beings, who will be forced to awaken as their false ideas of reality crumble to the ground.

We are all familiar with a cheat meal or perhaps even an entire cheat day!
This is a time where we decide to get off our usual strict way of eating and splurge with whatever food we want. This is usually to satisfy the cravings that have been building up during a time where we have been restricting our diet.
So why are cheat days essential? How are these times of bad eating POSITIVE rather than NEGATIVE?
During times of binge eating or when you are eating something that you wouldn't usually eat, it's extremely important you don't consider this a negative experience by surrounding the experience with guilt and shame.
We need to change the internal dialogue so instead of saying "I can't believe I ate that, I feel so sick" we want to be saying "whilst I am not feeling great right now, I am so glad I ate that food as I've learned something new about my body and about this experience".
Our bodies are always giving us constant feedback as to what works and what doesn't work. We are so tuned into our mind rather than tuned into our body, we tend to overlook the signs and signals our body is sending us.
Headaches, bloating, acne... these symptoms are information being provided to you so you can make better food choices for your body.
I see times of unhealthy food consumptions as opportunities for growth. It's a time where you can learn more about your own bio-individuality.
Whats important here is that we change the internal chatter and allow the opportunity to explore new foods. If you are constantly in a state of restriction eventually your body will take over your will-power and you will eat everything in sight. It's not sustainable. Not even for super woman.
If you are experiencing intense cravings for certain foods, this means you are deficient in something. This could be a nutrient deficiency or an emotional deficiency... either way, your body is trying to compensate for something that is lacking.
If you give your body what it needs, you won't experience intense cravings anymore.
Right now, my suggestion is that if you are desiring something unhealthy, allow yourself to have it every once in a while. Eat it mindfully and enjoy the experience. Tell yourself how amazing it is to be eating something so tasty and wonderful. By changing your experience to a positive one you will be releasing chemicals and hormones that will support and nourish your body during the digestion process.

I have not spoken on the topic of food since my last video "PCOS What To Eat? shot nearly one year ago.
I have not been withholding to be selfish - i promise you :-)
I have been hesitant to share on this topic due to the fact that I am in what I like to call STAGE 3 of my healing/detox journey. Many of you will be early in STAGE 1 or perhaps approaching STAGE 2.
What do I mean by these 3 stages? These stages are the terms of healing I refer to in my online program. Each stage targets the most relevant organs and bodily systems that need to strengthen and show improvement before you can move any further along your healing journey.
For example, in STAGE 1 our primary focus is to work on the adrenal glands. Why? Because when you are initially diagnosed with hormonal imbalance disorders like PCOS, it is certain that you have some level of adrenal burnout. The adrenals are one of the first glands in the body to go down for there to be any disease is manifested.
When the adrenals are not strong other core issues will arise...
Mood swings, unstable blood sugar, poor sleep, irregular bowel movements, cell waste is not filtering through the kidneys efficiently, acids and waste not leaving the body, cysts forming in the body, pain and inflammation shows up etc.
Until STAGE 1 has been met with a deep level of focus and attention, you cannot move into STAGE 2 or STAGE 3.
Why? Because if your adrenals are not strong and your pathways of elimination are not open, you do not want to be approaching a deeply detoxifying diet because those toxins are not able to leave your body and will instead recirculate the body.
This recirculation is extremely stressful on your system and will likely make symptoms even worse, especially any skin conditions like rosacea, acne or psoriasis that tend to flare up. When toxins are not able to leave via your two major pathways of elimination (bowel movements and urine) toxins will try to leave via the skin.
To heal the adrenals you need to look at your sleep, make sure you are blood sugar balancing (find the correct ratio of macronutrients on your plate - see my others videos) and look at your STRESS. Until these things are attended to with a lot of love and attention, it's not safe to deepen into this process. You are best to remain in STAGE 1 and heal your body from this approach.
FYI - I brought back my period and got rid of 80% of my symptoms in STAGE 1.

When you are healing your body it is not knowing what to eat which is the challenging step.
It's the cravings we are hit with along the way that veer us off track. This is what slows down our healing process a lot of the time.
Understanding what is healthy food and what isn’t, is as simple as knowing this…
Plant foods = vibrance and vitality.
Processed/refined/artificial foods = depletion and destruction.
Stepping up your detoxification and healing game will be different for each bio-individual human being.
Depending on where you are at right now maybe the next step is simply cutting your animal protein consumption in half...
For others it’ll be going completely vegan...
Maybe you'll reduce your fat and protein intake to support your liver...
Some may go on the raw / fruit diet...
Or you may start dry fasting to get the kidneys filtering again...
There are thousands of baby steps you can take in each moment that will help to detox and heal the body.
It’s all about what you are consuming (physically, mentally and emotionally) and knowing that EVERYTHING in your life is playing a part in your bodily build-up or break-down.
All that matters is that you need always follow the next step that feels right for YOUR body. Your body will never cease to offer you all the loving signals that things are improving.
Detoxing is therefore a simple and straightforward process.
Although the challenging part is actually sticking with your detoxification journey.

In this video I discuss the 2 reasons why we have cravings when trying to take the healthy eating path.
I’ll also discuss why eating a clean whole foods diet will be near impossible if your emotional world is in turmoil. We always need to look at the emotional world of any human moving through an intense body breakdown.
P.S.. remember that there is ALWAYS a healthy alternative. If you are craving chocolate go buy some sugar free vegan chocolate. Or make cocoa, banana and date icecream. Or sweet potato vegan nachos. There are endless options to satisfy physical or emotional cravings that aren't hurting your body.
