ProPresenter 7 hack: How to show emphasis in linked text

Imagine if you use linked text to show the same thing twice. That works great...unless you want to underline some of the words or make something bold, or a different color. Then, the emphasis doesn't go to the linked text.
Renewed Vision fixed a similar problem with secondary themes, but not linked text. So how do you get around this problem?
