My OLD SCHOOL Mack Fire Engine VS A BRAND NEW Pierce Pumper
I bought a 1977 Mack CF-600 from the Arcadia, KS fire department for $3,000. Today we're going to compare it to a Pierce pumper that's 43 years newer! The concept hasn't changed much but the technology and functionality has improved by leaps and bounds. It was amazing to get to tour the new truck and see how far we've come from the 70s. Plus their both still powered by massive diesel engines!

It was time for my 1996 Inifinti J30t "Personal Luxury Sedan" to head on down the road. It's powered by the Nissan 300ZX drivetrain with the 3.0L V6 turning a 4 speed automatic that sends it's power through a limited slip diff to the rear wheels. But even a great drivetrain couldn't hold up to this buyer... I met a guy off marketplace to sell the car and within minutes he destroyed the thing. This is one car sale story I'll never forget. The $500 1987 Porsche 944 is running perfectly after a few drops of injector cleaner, some injector orings, and borrowing a flow bench from my friends at ICT Billet. Now on to the reason the owner sold the car, the nasty rattle from the driveline caused by the rubber flywheel breaking down. We're going to install a static clutch setup that replaces the rubber piece and should last much longer. This job is much more involved than you'd think and ended up taking two days to knock out. It was time to take a break from the cheap C5 since we're waiting on parts at the moment. I decided to pull out some other projects that need finished and sold while enjoying the weather. We were out washing all the cars when Jake called and said I'm stuck on the side of the road, I think it's a bad fuel pump. We hopped in the truck and headed out to find him. There was no fuel pressure after priming so we pulled the truck back to the shop to take a look at it. @The Fractured Rooster Garage showed up when he saw the Ranger signal. We also learned we can do a Ford Ranger fuel pump in about 15 minutes flat now. I bought a 1993 Chevy Camaro Z28 that caught on fire yesterday. Today we're going to cut all the fire damage out of it and replace it all with new.
