Here is a rather " MEH!" early entry to the video pinball era... I feel this could have easily been better, even back then. I'll give it a 5.

Hot Shots Golf Fore for the PS2 is a fun and enjoyable golf game that offers a variety of challenging courses and a wide range of characters to play as. The graphics and animation are visually pleasing, and the controls are intuitive and easy to learn. The game's career mode is well-designed, offering a sense of progression as you unlock new courses and characters. The various game modes, such as stroke play and match play, also provide a lot of replay value. Overall, Hot Shots Golf Fore is an excellent golf game for both casual and hardcore players. Currently, I am embarking on entry-level tournaments by playing the currently available courses based on Japanese-style courses.

A basic golf game is included as one of the several games for the Microsoft Windows Entertainment Pack 3. Nothing special and slightly more frustrating than fun, but still worth a few playthroughs for the experience.

The Simpsons Bowling is a trackball arcade game that was developed and published by Konami and released on October 16, 2000. We played this at the Pinball Wizard Arcade in Pelham, NH back in 2015. It's a real shame they had to close... you can look up a great video tour here:

Tenpins is a basic but fun 1986 bowling game included in Ahoy! magazine for the C64 that is similar to Bowling on the Atari 2600.
Released by Entertainment Software in 1989
I've added some music and ambient sounds to make it easier to watch the gameplay.
Enjoy!

There was a time when Sega was still doing well but decided to convert some of its exclusive IPs to PCs in America. This Sonic game was released in 1997 and its sales would compete directly with the Genesis and Saturn versions of the prior year. What were they thinking? Well actually, it was nothing new. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I have purchased Links for Pocket PC. What’s that you say…This is a mobile edition of Links Golf 2001 for Pocket PC systems. Problem being, I don’t have a physical handheld PDA so I am using emulation to play the game I purchased. It took some time to locate a functional emulator and even more time getting the program from the install CD to the virtual Windows CE system. Finally successful, I flipped my laptop sideways and loaded the game for a round to discover the gameplay and all the features. Surprisingly, this played very close to the standard version, except it’s portrait mode instead of landscape, hence the reason for a sideways laptop. Here is a short clip to enjoy. I will upload a full round in the future.

The original Bondi Blue iMac, released by Apple in 1998, was a groundbreaking computer that signaled a shift in personal computing design. The all-in-one desktop computer, which came in a distinctive translucent blue-green color, was an instant hit with consumers and sparked a trend of colorful and playful tech products that continued into the early 2000s.
Today we are doing a mash-up of the original Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) and the original Bondi Blue Mac. Both cult classic technologies that have left a lasting impact on the world of gaming and personal computing. Despite being released in different industries, these devices share a number of features that have made them beloved by fans and collectors.
Both devices have a loyal fan base that has kept them relevant long after they were initially released. Collectors and enthusiasts continue to seek out original NES consoles and games, often paying high prices for well-maintained devices and accessories. Similarly, the Bondi Blue Mac has become a coveted collector's item, with many enthusiasts seeking out original models and accessories to add to their collections. In this video we are bringing them together via emulation.
Console emulation was still in its early days back in the late 1990s... So can this 25 year old computer handle emulating the 1985 NES and what was it like to play around with it all back then?
These days, the main advantages of NES emulation is the ability to easily play classic games without needing to own the original console and cartridges, which can be hard to find or expensive to buy. Now, NES emulators are widely available for free online and can be simply downloaded and installed on a computer or mobile device. Once installed, users can download and play their favorite NES games using ROM files, which are digital copies of the original game cartridges.
Times have changed, but back then it was all about experimentation and just having fun as the cult of retro gaming was in its infancy.
