So, nice hour and a half flight around Suffolk yesterday night, and didn't shoot any video. But I do always have my GPS with me recording tracks. And in the last few months Google has got around to doing true 3d of most of Suffolk - until then only a few areas like London, etc were covered for true 3d (3d buildings, rivers, trees, etc). So I thought it'd be interesting to 'make the video' of the flight as it would have looked if I'd shot it. I have to say - I'm bloody impressed - it really does look pretty much lke it did last night! The next video I'm going to post is a little compilation of a video that I did have video for, plus 3d footage side by side which should be interesting. I also have an occulus Rift DK2, and Oculus Gear VR (samsung s6), so might put together a demo for that in a similar fashion.

Several people pointed out the poor quality of the video in my last upload. This was due to me grabbing the camera that happened to be in my motorhome - an cheap chinese sjcam copy. This fix works with all such cameras - 100% guaranteed to stop them producing crap video quality ever again

Flight along the North, NorthEast coast at the beginning of March with Chilly. Some shots with my helmet pole mount. Some cool cloud stopped by the cliffs coming in land, made for some interesting scenery.
