Disseminated Intravascular Coagulation (DIC) is a thrombohemolytic disorder characterized by coagulation and bleeding. Snake bites (Rattlesnake ?; Viper), septic shock, obstetric complications, acute pancreatitis, blood transfusion, tumors or trauma can trigger an episode of disseminated Intravascular Coagulation (DIC).

Vitamin K Deficiency | Hemorrhagic Disease of the Newborn or Vitamin K dependent bleeding (VKDB) is a bleeding disorder that occurs due to deficiency of vitamin K.

Factor X Deficiency is an autosomal recessive disease. In factor X deficiency, there is a coagulation (secondary Hemostasis) defect.
