==What is your favorite Xfce distribution?==
A review of the Arch-based distribution known as Manjaro Linux. Overall, this system is a great bridge to users who want to transition from more newbie friendly distributions to the wonderful world of Arch Linux. More stability and out-of-the-box functionality make this distribution a decent win over regular Arch.

A review of the much-anticipated Linux Mint 12 'Lisa' operating system. Overall, this distribution bridges a wide gap between the traditional desktop interface, and the future desktop of Gnome 3. Top of the line open-source applications with custom Mint tools make for a very nice, albeit limited, user experience.
I like the direction that Linux Mint 12 is headed, but there are still some implementation tweaks that need to be made in both Gnome 3's Mint Gnome Shell Extensions (MGSE) and the Gnome 2 fork MATE desktop environment.
Let me know what you think below!

==What edition will you be using/trying and why?==
A review of the Cinnamon Edition of Linux Mint 14 Nadia. Overall, a very responsive and customizable user experience focused on Mint's user base of experienced computer users. It's fantastic to see Linux Mint become more and more independent from its big brother Ubuntu, as these distributions seem to have parted user bases.

I don't game much, but when I do, here are 5 things that I've found incredibly useful to optimise Linux Mint for casual gaming. There are better distros out there for gaming, and for dedicated gamers - nothing will beat Windows, but if you like a bit of gaming on the side of your normal use - these tips may come in handy.

So many thoughts on this one. Inspired by a recent videos by @Chris Titus Tech and @The Linux Experiment I make the argument for why we need new Linux distributions for the desktop using a pretty sweet distro based on Manjaro - TROM Jaro.

Despite some technical difficulties, here's some quick thoughts around PCLinuxOS (2019.7 MATE) as another descendant of Mandrake/Mandriva.
