Protesters marched away from Parliament Square and were led on a pointless march through London's streets. The group initially split at Downing Street, as some stayed there and others continued to Trafalgar Square. Again the group split as some stayed in Trafalgar and others continued towards Piccadilly Circus. And again the group split at Piccadilly as some attempted to 'take the square' and the rest marched on. I was in the first group that kept on marching and we ended up marching down Oxford Street. When we reached Oxford Circus I expected us to turn left back towards Parliament but we turned right towards BBC Broadcasting House. As you'll see in the video, when we reached BBC, nothing happened; most didn't even approach the barriers. Two protesters called for the crowd to keep marching, away from central London. I intervened and asked where they were leading us. They claimed we were going back to Downing Street but had to go around the long way as the police kept trying to cut us off. The police had in fact only cut us off once, half an hour prior at Piccadilly Circus. I told them everyone else was in Parliament Square as I had kept an eye on the others' streams and many in my livestream chat were saying the same. After this, we all turned back for an uneventful half hour walk back to Parliament. Thanks to my viewers as always for keeping me in the loop, I couldn't do this work without you.
