Unlike the stud nail gun that must be removed each time, this tip tacks itself to the metal surface and pulls off with a small twist. This is a time saver and eliminates the need to stud nail supplies. However, while this tool seem the better choose to me, most students still prefer the stud nail gun method. http://CollisionBlast.com - Hello Donnie Smith here and today I'm a tell you about a trip I had to Visit 3M Headquarters.

I just got back from St. Paul Minnesota, which is where 3M headquarters is located. 3M invited several of us to visit their facilities and show us some of their new automotive products. In this video on my talk about the 3M trip the employees in the company, the networking, 3M's focus on D I Y enthusiast and some of the new products they have available. First of all I would like to command 3M for such a good job for organizing the training event. Debbie, Monica, and the entire 3M crew for their efforts of putting this together and showing us a good time. The event was fun, yet very informative. It was also nice to have the opportunity to network with others in related industries. This allowed me to learn the perspective from others in other industries. I attend collision repair events collision repair instructor events, and education events. However, I tend to get stuck in those three circles do not have the opportunity to meet others and learn their perspective, as I did with this evening. I had the opportunity to meet people like Dennis the host of hot Rod Magazine Live Karl the host of Home Live Radio, Jay from Fender Bender Chuck from ABRN.com and Jon from Car and Driver. There was about 20 of us invited to attend. One individual I would like to mention is Lori from Ladies Start your Engines. We had some time to sit and visit and had some common interests as she educates women about the automotive industry. With me being a collision repair instructor we were able talk about teaching and teaching methods. She is also an adviser for http://AskPatty.com and what they do is educate females about the automotive industry. I've had the opportunity to meet Jody DeVere the CEO of AskPatty.com, several times and learn about their organization. They do a great service for the industry, not only do they educate women about the automotive automotive industry, they also teach the automotive industry about female buyers . It has been shown in statistics that there are more female car buyers than male car buyers. And they influence even a bigger percentage of all new car sales. Therefore if you're a dealership selling cars a service center selling jobs or body shop selling collision repair jobs. It is important to market to the female population. If you don't you are going to be missing out on a huge percentage of sales. AskPatty.com trains the industry and can certify you to be a female friendly shop in the automotive industry. To learn how you can be can become female friendly certified to AskPatty.com visit their website.
http://YouTube.com/Eastwoodco - How to prep a car and get it ready for primer and paint are the steps we are taking in this Eastwood video series. We talk about applying glaze putty, feather edging, final sanding and sanding jambs.

http://MyMustangRestoration.com - Now we have the outer wheelhouse welded on, now we can prime the bare metal. After scuffing everything, we used self etch primer to provide adhesion and provide corrosion protection. After allowing to flash, we sprayed the areas with high build primer.
Once the metal, welds locations and seams were primed, we applied seam sealer over all welds and seams to seal out moisture. This will prevent rust from creeping in later.
Once we had everything sealed up, we used bed liner coating to undercoat the inner parts that will be covered when the quarter panel installed.
Next, we'll finally install the quarter panel....it's been a long time coming!
