"Where'd all the Grumpy Old Men Go?" (Wabasha, MN)
Hi Everyone, I've always been a big fan of the movie "Grumpy Old Men" It was my first real introduction to the upper midwest. I remember seeing it when it came out and thinking "people really drive out on frozen lakes?" I had to see it for myself. I like this part of the world so much, that I left my hometown in Northern California, and did a "reverse migration" of sorts. I just keep moving to smaller and smaller (and more economically depressed) towns. At any rate, this is where Grumpy Old Men is SUPPOSE to take place. It was really filmed in a couple other towns in Minnesota. I hope you enjoy, I couldn't help getting a little philosophical (the pub helped) Thanks for watching!
Howdy! fellow adventurers. In this episode, Wavey and I finally make it to Paducah, Kentucky, where we give you a full beagle tour. We were itching to enter the Kentucky Lakes...but God had other plans. Nothing gets your attention to slow down and appreciate where you're at like a collapsed bridge blocking your path.

Howdy guys and gals, I finally finished up the interview with Martin of ATAP. He goes into some details on why he's chosen to live on the waterways and why he chose to build a shanty boat to do it. Some might not know that Martin also has RV adventures out west and lives on Lake Michigan during the summers on a sailboat. His channel has a larger back catalog than most channels do-- and it's very under appreciated. Check out his channel if you have time, and subscribe if you like it.

Howdy fellow adventurers, Wavey and I finally got a chance to go on a TW200 Adventure. We rode approximately 800 miles around Michigan, with much of it being dirt roads. We like it! Part:2 coming shortly...

Howdy, Welcome back. This stop was one of those unplanned, random finds that make you believe there's still magic in the world. I'm sure I romanticized it in my mind a little, but that's part of the magic isn't it? The song "Good Ol' Boys Like Me" by Don Williams was playing on the overhead speakers at the Dollar General, I was surrounded by thick Tennessee accents (different than your run of the mill "southern accent" and don't let anyone tell you otherwise) I felt like I found home, or at least a place I could feel at home. My mother's side of the family was originally from Tennessee (the other side of the state, by way of Ireland) and this part of Tennessee still has some strong Irish roots and pride. It wasn't long before I made some friends at the Danville store (I should have gotten some footage, but hate shoving a camera in people's faces). When you do your trip, make sure above all else, you do NOT get in a hurry. This is a trip of a lifetime, and you'll remember it forever. God Bless the Good ol' Boys like me, and the friendly folks on Western Tennessee. Thanks for watching.

Howdy fellow adventurers...the beagle is back!
We took the barge out on Lake Superior for a peaceful afternoon of exploring remote beaches.
The new motor is a perfect fit.
This should keep you in an adventurous spirit until I post some Aimlessly Wandering videos later this week.
I hope y'all are having a great summer.

Hi Everyone, some folks have been asking me about the UP, housing prices, and general "what's it like up there" questions, so I figured it would make a good series to talk about that. Last week I took an over-night road trip out to Grand Marais, Michigan--one of the best little end of the road towns anywhere (in my opinion) I hope ya'll enjoy spending a few minutes looking around a place not too many folks get to--feel free to ask more questions if you like.
