Welcome back to the Fabrication Station! Shot this video solo while Jeff was away, so dont be too rough on a bloke, ok? haha! Been off the torch for a couple months so once again its time to prep some filler rods, sharpen the tungsten, and fire up the TIG!
Today i'm showing you guys my process on fabricating an oil catch can, in this case for our buddy Cam's 1000+ HP barra powered FPV F6 R-Spec. I'll also share a couple of cheeky top tips for those thinking they might like to try their hand at Aluminium TIG welding. Remember; you don't need to aim for flawless weld porn instagram dime stacks. So long as you get it penetrated and sealed, she's good to go!

Bit of a more rough style off the cuff type of video today, and giving you a quick update on what's been happening with our mate Cam's Barra Powered BF Mark II, F6 Typhoon R-Spec. New donk is sitting on the mounts and Cam has some SWEET new Enemies Everywhere beadlocked wheels.
Having already run 9.97 @ 137mph off the footbrake, using the Australind Automatics built powerglide with transbrake, Monsta Torque built engine, and Haltech Elite ECU, this big girl will be chasing 8s for sure!

Welcome back to the Radial Runabout build series!
Our buddy Liam has dropped in for us his VP Commodore ute, and Kurt has a BUNCH of fabrication work to do on this beast...
Well, the fun and games continue on this Turbo LS Commodore ute and we're on the home stretch! All that's left is to mount the B&M Transcooler, modify the steering rack position to clear the starter motor, and put it all back together!
This is an SBE LS2 6.0L V8 with a Borgwarner 80mm T6 turbo. Will be backed by a Reid case Powerglide and hopefully go ~850rwhp. Stoked to have it back together and ready for its next stage of plumbing and wiring.

Gettin' back on the horse! And for the first time in over a decade, the wheels are connected to the engine! Unreal! Got a fresh 3.23:1 geared 28 spline Borgwarner diff with Harrop truetrac centre to put in so the (not-so) LSD can be put out to pasture. At long last there will be some reliable traction!

In the spirit of doing things the hardest way possible, naturally the choice was to use the Holden 304 as a base. But with a bit of know how, and some top dollar Aussie made parts, you can get these things to FLY!

Well, this Turbo 304ci Holden V8 (aka the "iron lion") won't go too far or make much boost without the right plumbing! So, time to complete the cooling system and get the intercooler in place so we can run it for more than a minute or so, actually get some temp in the engine, and eventually force some air in there!
Won't be long now guys, still a few jobs to tick off but this big girl is going to be ready for the street in the not too distant future...
