In the area of Sankt Goarshausen in Germany, by the River Rhine, there are many legends of a mysterious woman captivating sailors (and other men) by her beautiful singing. A Mermaid, a nymph, a water spirit, or a Siren? The tales and descriptions are varied, likewise the theories.
