Harley Davidson Ultra Limited 107 '18 | Taste Test
You can't get anymore grander than this! The FLHTK Ultra Limited is one of the trifectas of big, luxurious, monster tourers from Harley-Davidson!
With almost all the toys standard on this de-facto couples retreat cruiser, the Ultra makes it one of the icons of American motorcycle culture. With an innovative yet torquey Milwaukee Eight 107 engine at the helm, it's a calmer version compared to the ruckus and thirsty 114 version.
With so many rivals on this 'ultra' luxurious Tourer category with the like like of its neighbor the Indian Roadmaster, the Japanese Honda Gold Wing, and the German BMW K1600 GTL.
Since I've already ridden its sibling, the Street Glide 107 on my previous video, how does this living American icon compare?
[NOTE: Of course, I've ridden the 2018 model when it was new. By now there were several updates of the Ultra Limited 107 since then.]
Other than the KLR 650, this iconic Suzuki has been around forever!
On my first ever ride on a dedicated dirtbike (or any dirt bike in general), I was very curious about how it rides. Since I rode this DR way before I rode either the KLR, DR-Z400SM, and the Enduro R.
The test route was a bit of meh, but It was a very fun endeavor overall!
Ride Alongs are some of my earlier videos with minimal-to-no talk, simply because I didn't have a mic or had a broken mic back then.

The KTM RC 390 is well known for its very approachable demeanor to both beginners to expert riders around the world.
But in some countries where they have access to smaller displacement budget-sport motorcycles, they have two options: one is the bargain-basement RC 125, and this one the RC 200.
Designed to compete with various 175-250cc budget (‘overbone’) sportbikes, the KTM is well known for its power-to-weight ratio, powerful high-strung engine, and chassis balance.
Despite its engineering pedigree from the larger 1290, 1190, & 1090 motorcycles; will this Austrian-engineered, Indian-developed single-cylinder 'thumper' motorcycle shine above its contemporary rivals?

The icon of the Adventure Motorcycling world! No doubt it has a worldwide following, and most people are salivating to own a piece of epicness!
No matter how it is called: 'Exclusive,' 'Poverty spec,' 'Bare Bones,' 'lowest model,' etc. This is the most affordable model in the R1200 GS line, making it a highly competitive model against its competitors.
But how does the regular model ride? Since I've ridden the mid-level GS Rallye before, will I ignore this Base variant entirely? We'll see!

The budget-middleweight naked motorcycle (300cc too low-500cc) market is really getting fiercer by the day!
It also comes on all fronts too! With Ducati Scrambler SixtyTwo 400, KTM 390 Duke, Harley's Street 500, CF Moto 400NK, Honda's CB400SF & CB500F, Bajaj Dominar 400, Loncin LX300-6 CR6, Zongshen's Cyclone RE3 400, BMW 310 R, Voge YF300 300R, TVS Apache Bristol Classic 400i, Benelli's TNT300, 302S, & Leoncino 500, & Husqvarna Vitpilen 401. It's getting really crowded here!
I've been waiting to get an opportunity like this ever since I've 'Taste Tested' the Ninja 400! That Ninja-4 was impressive, I always imagined how will the Z400 ride like!? And it's finally here! I simply can't wait!!!
I even begged Kawasaki USA to take this last ride for the day! And here we are now! What would I think of it? Is it a squared-on rival to the KTM Duke 390? Much different is the riding experience compared to the Ninja 400? We're about to find out!!
Aside from different skin colors, the 2020 model year Z400 ABS and this 2019 model are exactly the same.

The 'Underbone King' has evolved into a 4th generation model, equipped with a more sophisticated Electronic Fuel Injection and a more convenient digital gauge!
If you watched my previous 'Bite Test,' that was the 3rd-generation Raider R150 (Carburated model). This 4th-Gen is more powerful and better than the previous model.
But the question is how much of a difference compared to the 3rd-Gen model in a parking lot setting? It may not be much, but I will surely detect it one way or another!
The Raider R150 is also called the Satria 150 in Indonesia and Belang R150 in Malaysia. And only available in Southeast Asian markets exclusively.

There is a difference between wants and needs. For example, a brand-new smartphone and basic transportation.
No bike blurs the lines between the two better than this India-made moped, the TVS XL100 series! Since the Philippines never got the awesome Honda Cub/Super Cub series, this is the closest thing the country can get!
For a bit over US$730 / PHP37,000, you can say goodbye to your daily commute and enjoy the life of motorcycling! The XL100 is more of a utilitarian bike than others in its class and that makes it special.
I've been waiting a long time wanting to ride this affordable moped, what do I think about it?

Do you want an Indian Chieftan but without all the shiny chrome bits? Then the Dark Horse is the best alternative to the 'shiny' Chieftain.
I have always liked Indian bikes for their overall refinement, reliability, and distinct styling. And the Chieftain is no exemption.
With tough competition with other rivals, how will this dark cruiser with mid-risers fare up? Check it out!
- This very unit has an optional factory exhaust with a tune, mid-riser handlebars, and a factory-installed navigation system.

Time for a first double-header! After editing my 'Bite Test' on the 250NK, I realized that the video was too short for a weekly episode. Then I realized that I also have an equally short video, from the same brand too! And that would be the much bigger 650NK. Then it struck me, I might as well combine the two in one video! Yay!
Not many people outside Asia may know, but CFMoto is one of the biggest Chinese motorcycles in the world. Other than Zongshen (CSC), QianJiang (Benelli/SSR), Loncin (Voge), Zontes, Lifan, & Motrac; CFMoto is one of the front-runners in the industry.
CFMoto captivated me when I landed in the Philippines and piqued my interests greatly. As a US-based Filipino, my curiosity towards the 400NK gravitates me to their test ride booth during the 'Tiangge.' Unfortunately, the 400NK wasn't available but the smaller 250NK and the much more Globally acceptable 650NK.
The 250NK is a mass-market Premium Budget Bike that competes in the 200-300cc class. Available in select markets around the world, I was surprised with it's KTM-inspired TFT gauge especially for it's budget-friendly price!
The 650NK on the other hand is in a very tough spot. The 600-700cc class is a very competitive area, let me give you an example: SV650, Z650, MT-07, TNT600i, & CB650R just to name a few, oh boy!
So it seems that CFMoto is primarily aiming for price-conscious audience. But will that be enough to lure customers in to their dealerships? Since its a Chinese-manufactured motorcycle, the negative stigma is still very strong.
But I'm all about the product itself, not where the country is based from, not the political gibberish, and definitely not from the social stigma. My question is: is-this-bike-good? And even for this very short ride, I will still ride these bikes. But what do I think of it?
