Its Water Spout will get weaker the lower its HP is. Tentacruel will use Toxic to poison opponents. Ludicolo has a 3-way combo by using Double Team, Leech Seed, and Giga Drain. Whiscash will use Amnesia to raise its Special Defense stat and Earthquake for a big attack. Gyarados will use Dragon Dance to raise its stats then unleash Hyper Beam for bigger damage. Milotic will use Recover when running out of HP and Toxic to poison opponents. A move like Thunderbolt or even Giga Drain works best for this round.

The stage begins with birds dropping eggs and hatchers releasing plasma worms. If the wall is too tall, use Item 3 to scale it. After climbing a ladder, use a charged Atomic Fire to remove an icy wall. Use the next ladder and a swarm of cylinder floaters will slowly come towards you. Climb another ladder and watch for spring traps along with standing gunners. Use Item 1 to reach the floor above and take out a swarm of helmets. At a section with shield snipers, use Item 1 or Item 3 to ascend. At a section with falling platforms, blow away a wall with the Crash Bomb. Continue climbing and you’ll next go through a section with hydraulic presses. Once you reach the top, jump from platform to platform and a giant dragon will follow you. When the battle begins, the dragon will move about and spray some fireballs. Aim for the eyes of the dragon by using the Bubble Lead. After defeating the dragon, you’ll advance to the next stage.

Bronzong has the ability Levitate to avoid Ground type moves and will use Calm Mind to raise its Special stats then unleash a big Psychic attack. Gallade knows Drain Punch that steals the target’s HP and 3 moves that can land critical hits more easily. Moves like Night Slash and Flamethrower are a good use for this battle.

Piloswine will use Blizzard to cause massive damage and even freeze targets. After winning, you’ll receive the Glacier Badge and a TM16 (Icy Wind). Icy Wind causes damage and lowers the target’s Speed stat.
