There has been much discussion on how artificial intelligence (AI) will shape our future. Questions like: Will autonomous AI-enabled machines with sleek human form be a negative and unbridled force (Terminator style)? And will the development of AI improve the wellbeing of people, businesses and our community for the better? So let’s begin with four trends in which AI make grow between 2030 and 2050.

The final part of the series on the BUNCH (Burroughs, Univac, NCR, CDC and Honeywell). I spent a little over 8 years working for Burroughs and only left because I had no desire to work in Chicago. Burroughs made many contributions to the world we live and work in today, some of them we just take for granted that they have always been here. Even if you watched TV shows chances are you have seen a Burroughs Computer.

In this video I react to the latest LTT video on how they plan to address the problems that have been identified in their videos which measure performance of graphics cards, CPUs and other components of the systems. This is not a hit piece, instead I took their response as a genuine, open and valid approach to solving the problems that have been put forward by other YouTubers. I took it as a wake up call to address the things I do to measure performance and make sure they remain open, and provide each distro under test, and under comparison a fair "shake".
I have never been about "opinions", rather how to we measure to find the best answer to the question "How well can I expect this linux distro to perform". So this is my attempt to explain what I intend to do to remain transparent and to make sure I am remaining impartial (as any human can) when measure each system.
I grew up with the scientific method, and that method dictates that you can not have any bias which might be used to alter the results, rather we should form our conclusions based on what is happening to the system under test, and find explanations when we find parts of the system which are not performing well.
The other lesson I learned late in life unfortunately is never play the "Blame game". All that does is destroy teams. Throwing people under the bus is not the best policy to follow if you want your team to come to you with problems and suggestions to improve things.
AI Artwork: is a scene from a lab strewn with parts, equipment used to put a "system" under test.

What made the Internet a thing, who created it, and why was it created? Today I look at ARPANET the prototype for what would become the most successful and largest network on Earth.

I am looking at Password Managers, mainly because I need to switch off from the one I am using, and I also need password management for my ARM platforms. I am also looking into the current suggested length in passwords for 2021, I have heard everything from 12 characters to 24 characters. At some point the password length is not going to matter it will just be one long diminishing returns and we will all be looking to do something different. So I am looking at 3 Password Managers for LInux, and I am including a sneak peak into a potential password-less solution for Linux today as well (yeah, Its a Beta).
