**Demystifying Vegetable Stock | How to MakeVegetable Stock | The ULTIMATE Vegetable Stock Tutorial**
I used to think making stock from scracth was some form of wizardry .
I had no idea where to start or what to do. But it only took watching a few tutorials on YouTube itself to get a bit of confidence.

I’m sure at one point or another you’ve had these thoughts. I know I’m guilty of it. But here’s the thing- ALL good things start with one individual deciding to make a change, even in the face of seemingly insurmountable odds!

Even if it seems insignificant at the moment, that’s not actually how things play out, because the truth is (especially now), someone is always watching.

While the choices you make today might seem small, the truth is, if you can inspire someone to make a similar small change, and he/she can inspire another person, all of a sudden a movement begins. You have now influenced a great deal of people that you might not even know! How cool is that?

So why is this relevant? Well- as you can see in the video, one person’s story had a ripple effect that touched millions and billions of people. That’s powerful- but that is not unique. You have that same power.

So if you’re worried about the next big scare, or think that the powers that be now have no way of being swayed- think again.

Start with what you can control. Be a light for others to follow. Because, remember, whether you realize it or not, someone else is watching.

**My Thoughts: On Intermittent Fasting**
In this video, I go over the basics of Intermittent Fasting (IF), tackling what exactly it is, the different styles of IF that exist, and if it is something you should consider doing.
IF is definitely not a hallpass to eat junk food, and I still make sure I am eating the best quality foods I can find and cooking somewhere between 80–90% of all my meals. This is something to definitely keep in mind if you choose to give it a shot. Let me know what you think!

The pancreas has two vital jobs to perform:
1. The secretion of major digestive enzymes. Sodium of bicarbonate is also released at this time to alkalize the stomach contents so these digestive enzymes can work.
2. The production of insulin by the beta cells for glucose utilization.
When the cells in the pancreas become weak and fail to do their respective jobs, both aspects or functions can be affected.

The function of the pancreas that directly relates to diabetes is performed by the beta cells, which produce and release the insulin that assists in the utilization of glucose fuel by the body.

Diabetes is considered another autoimmune problem, where lymphocytes attack the beta cells and destroy them. This is a misunderstanding. Your immune system is designed to eliminate the weak. It does not attack itself for no reason.
The body secretes various digestive enzymes in basically four places: the mouth, stomach, pancreas and small intestines.

The mouth, pancreatic, and intestinal enzymes are similar to each other and are alkaline in nature, affecting primarily carbohydrate and fat digestion.

It is important to note here that fructose from fruit moves through cell walls by diffusion, not active transport, as in the case of glucose. What is interesting is that this suggests that the need for insulin to get fructose into a cell, is at best questionable, but diabetics are commonly told not to eat fruit because of its sugar.

Fructose (from whole foods!) is a fantastic energy source. Raw fruits and vegetables are always your best sources of simple sugars. This is partially why the body becomes stronger and more energetic when consuming high amounts of these foods. Foods high in protein and low in sugars rob the body of energy needed for further digestion, and can create acidosis and elevate blood sugars. Parasites, candida, and fungal overgrowth can also inhibit pancreatic function.

More important is to regenerate pancreatic and digestive function, and ditch the common offenders that will make things worse, like conventional refined foods, dairy, STRESS, and other markers, and you can begin to turn this around!
