Then, they built an Ether Lift in the Lakeside Grotto, which enabled them to explore the eastern plateaus in the Aurora Shelf and Vermilion Woods. They also cleared out a Keves Outpost Incursion near the Colony 5 Wreckage. Now, they will explore the rest of the upper part of the Ragmos Desolation. 0:00 - Game Load 0:38 - Colony 9 The party resumes at the Colony 9 Camp. They skip travel to the Fallen Gate of Ulcaria southwest of Gelgemos Garrison, the Ragmos Desolation. 1:40 - The Ragmos Desolation From the Fallen Gate of Ulcaria, the party drops west to Magwall Road. They find a Black Crystal in the south. To the north, there is an Ether Channel on a level ledge next to an upward slope. On the slope, the party battles the Naberius Invictus, a Level 40 unique Sagittarius. It comes with a Level 39 Keves Trooper and a Level 39 Keves Warrior. The Naberius Invictus's drops include a Nopon Medal; Battle Manual, vol. 18; and Tactics Manual, vol. 16. The party now has all seven Nopon Medals for Bobobi's fourth prize. The party skip travels to Bobobi's Shoppe, Colony 9. 16:39 - Colony 9 The party talks to Bobobi for "Nopon Medals Needed". Bobobi gives them their fourth reward, Chewchew's Amulet - Gold. The fifth reward requires nine more Nopon Medals. The party skip travels to the Naberius Invictus grave in Magwall Road, the Ragmos Desolation. 17:57 - The Ragmos Desolation Up the hill in the northeast of Magwall Road, the party finds the Raguel Bridge Camp rest spot east of the bridge. As they start across the bridge, they discover Raguel Bridge. Look out for the hole! They fight the Surrogate Fitzpatrick, a Level 41 unique Vollgull. Drops include Lessons in Unity, vol. 12; Tactics Manual, vol. 15; and Battle Manual, vol. 19. South of the hole, the party drops to the southeastern isle. There is a Container, whose contents include a Nopon Medal. On the southwestern isle, the party constructs two Ether Slides. One leads southwest, the other northeast. They take the southwest Ether Slide to a pillar near the Lakeside Camp. They hop east for a Relic. Contents include an Art Unlock Kit; a Nopon Medal; and Tactics Manual, vol. 5. Rex unlocks his last Art slot with the kit. Everyone has all their art slots now. The party returns to Raguel Bridge. Near the grave, they drop down west to an isle below. They construct a Ladder leading to the bridge. Down another ladder, they find an Affinity Scene that they can view after reaching the Black Mountains. On an isle to the northwest, they drop east to a lower isle. They find a Container whose contents include an Accessory Unlock Kit and a Nopon Medal. Matt unlocks his final Accessory Slot with the kit. The party skip travels to the Surrogate Fitzpatrick grave. After making their way to the southwest isle, they take the northeast Ether Lift to an isle in the east. They construct a helpful Ether Mast. After returning to the Surrogate Fitzpatrick grave, the party continues. At the northwest end of Raguel Bridge, they find the Raguel Bridge - North landmark. They go east along the ledge. At the end, they find a Black Shard. In the Hidden Windy Cave nearby, they fight an Intervention against some fogbeasts. At the end, they save a City survivor, Clarity. A scene with her takes place. She is a friend of Matt and Dillon. In the east of the cave, they find a Black Crystal. Atop a ledge to the west, they find a Container. Contents include a Nopon Medal. West of the Raguel Bridge - North landmark, the party carefully drops to a lower ledge with an Ether Channel. The party skip travels to the Raguel Bridge - North landmark and goes west. Dialogue takes place near the edge of the area. They discover the Canyon of No Return landmark. They will continue to the next area later. For now, they register a Collectopaedia entry. To seek the last entry, Tentacled Oysters, they skip travel to the Tranquil Bluffs secret area and search Raguel Lake. They register the Tentacled Oysters when they have enough. Afterwards, they skip travel to the Colony 9 Camp. 54:42 - Colony 9 The party chats with Dillon and Clarity, who have new dialogue. At the Colony 9 Camp, they craft some gem upgrades: Steelcleaver IV, Brimming Spirit IV, Disperse Bloodlust IV, and Lifebearer IV. The party saves. Next time, they will continue to the next area. They met Cid, but unfortunately, the twins had to petrify themselves to save the rest of the party. The party gained the use of the Enterprise. Their next mission is to retrieve the crystal from Troia. The party acquired some more augments and then visited the town of Troia. Now, they will visit a couple of locations that are currently optional. Overworld: The party resumes outside the town of Troia. They board the Enterprise and fly to the town of Mythril, which is on an island between Fabul and Mount Ordeals. Mythril (time 1:05): The town of Mythril is home to sapient gnomes, frogs, and pigs. As the name indicates, the town's industry is focused on mythril. There are a few hidden things to find. Southwest of the inn, a Diet Ration is hidden among the flowers. In the southeast of town, a well contains a Maiden's Kiss. In the northeast of town, there is a hidden container with a Mythril Staff just east of the end of the path. By the fence just east of the armory, a hidden container holds a Mythril Knife. The weapon and armor shops have mythril gear available. Decent but pricey. I recommend giving it a pass. Behind a bush at the southeast corner of the item shop, the party finds 5,000 gil. The item shop stocks Maiden's Kisses, Mallets, and Diet Rations. There are also attack items. After exploring, the party leaves town. Overworld (time 7:50): The party boards the Enterprise. West of Mythril and south of Baron, they find a town by a mountain. This is Agart. Agart (time 8:19): Agart is home to people that claim dwarven ancestry. There is an Observatory in the southwest of town. There are strange things happening in space, it seems. Could this have something to do with the story? The party explores the town in search of hidden items. Behind a bush in the valley west of the central well, the party finds a hidden Phoenix Down. Just to the north, there is a hidden Potion. Behind a bush in the north of the western valley, there is a hidden Cottage. In the southwest of the town's northern plateau, there is a hidden Hi-Potion among the flowers and bushes. There are weapon and armor shops in the northeast of town. Unfortunately, they sell nothing I care about. There is a house in the valley north of the well. South of the southeast corner of the house, there is an Antarctic Wind hidden in the bushes. Behind the large bush west of the house, there is a hidden Gaia Drum. This casts the Quake spell when used as an item in battle. Tellah will put it to excellent use in the future. Currently, they are looking for surviving Scarlet Godstones and practicing Anlucia's new abilities. They carried out Quest 276: "Desert Treasure" for King Moonis in Real Arahagiro. First, they went to Fake Arahagiro and recovered its Phantom Sun Mirror, since Moonis broke the one in Real Arahagiro. Then, they returned to the Real Pyramid. Armed with the Rosetta Dictionary, they found new treasures and reached the Stone Chamber of the Sun. There, they defeated Demon Commander Gejura, and Anlucia powered up the Scarlet Godstone there. Not only that, they found a fruit long thought extinct in Arahagiro. The party will now continue the storyline with a story quest that will take them back to the Montcero Hot Spring Gorge. Real Gran Zedora (time 0:30): The party resumes in the church in the Kingdom of Real Gran Zedora. They go outside and Zoom to the Real Melun Watermill destination in the Real Melsandy Granaries. Real Melsandy Granaries (time 4:45): At C-1, the party exits north to the Real Melun Watermill. Real Melun Watermill (time 5:06): The party enters the main cabin at D-5. A cutscene with Yakup of the watermill and Lujina of the Montcero Hot Spring Gorge takes place within. Yakup issues Quest 277: "Death Battle! Secret Mountain Hot Spring", a quest in the Tale of Interwoven Bonds of Courage storyline. When Yakup went to Montcero to visit Lujina, he came across a vicious monster there! To make matters worse, there were also girls there, and they could be in danger. The party must now go to the Montcero Hot Spring Gorge, defeat the monster, and save the girls. Yakup reminds the party that the Montcero Hot Spring Gorge is southwest of the Koniwea Plain. The party Zooms to the Montcero Hot Spring Gorge destination. Montcero Hot Spring Gorge (time 10:01): The party arrives outside the Caretaker's Cabin at F-7 in the southeast. They did not collect the container treasures during their previous visit, so they will do so now. A barrel along the side of the Caretaker's Cabin at F-7 contains Mini Medal #202, counting the 61 Heorot has exchanged so far. The party encounters a few area monsters. They use a Metal Perfume and a Double Bubble. Heorot and Anlucia go into reserve when they reach max tension. At E-4, a black chest on the river shore contains a Blue Orb (ブルーオーブ). It is accessible from the east. The party takes out a couple Liquid Metal Slimes (time 19:07). In the west, a black chest at C-2/C-3 contains 3 Chronocrystals (ときのすいしょう). Around D-3, the party takes a tree trunk tunnel onto the north-central plateau. On the northern plateau, a black chest at E-1 contains 5 Slime Fashion Flowers (スライムおしゃれ花). Another tree trunk tunnel at E-2 provides access to the north-central plateau from the lowlands. Heorot reaches Thief Level 96. He earns 2 skill points for a total of 5. Under Whips, he spends 4 points on Attack Power +5 with a whip equipped. On the North Tower at E-2, the party takes the gondola southwest. It delivers them to the Central Tower at D-3. Another gondola leads southeast, but the party goes down to explore the central plateaus. In a cave behind the waterfall at F-3, a black chest contains the recipe for the Tri-Chakram (トライチャクラム). Atop the Central Tower at D-3, the party takes the gondola southeast. It delivers them to the South Tower at E-4. The party climbs down and explores the southern plateau. At D-5 in the southwest of the southern plateau, a black chest contains 3 Seeds of Deftness (きようさのたね). Anlucia, Hussar, and Daston each use one. The party makes their way back towards the Caretaker's Cabin at F-7. There is a cave just southeast of the cabin, but there are just a couple of sparkly spots there. The party follows the path leading south from the Caretaker's Cabin. Around E-8, a cutscene takes place. Through the steam, the party sees a couple of bathers in the hot spring. But when the steam clears, they turn out to be a monstrous pair of sisters, Lovely Generals Belinda and Brenda! They took some time to bathe in the hot springs before destroying the Scarlet Godstone in the nearby shrine. The party must pursue them to the shrine.
