With the cost of living on the rise, salaries and pensions remain stagnant for the average citizen who barely survives, even while the government assert their claim for exorbitant pay increases. We are suggesting that economic policies should facilitate growth for every Jamaican irrespective of the sector or employment. The current system supports classism. Tune in for the UIC's solution to these crises. ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZRDu3lnjT3Y
WARNING! WARNING! WARNING!
"The rights of all Jamaicans are at stake! Let us not sit idly by, unconcerned! Despite many oppositions to the NIDS bill on Friday (including a blind senator expressing he'd only gotten some parts of the bill on Friday), the government insisted that parliament would not end until the bill passes! It was only when supporting admin, clerical and ancillary staff spoke out about the grave inconvenience of parliament's extended hours, that at 1:00am, they adjourned until Monday at 9am." ACCORDING OUR SOURCE
Why such urgency? What pressure is the government under to pass this bill right now? The Government of Jamaica is currently amending legislations to pass the NIDS bill! All citizens, it appears, will be forced by law to submit personal, general and biometric information which includes retina scan, fingerprints, toe prints, blood type, religion, etc. All this data will be stored in a database controlled by the government and those they give access.
Failure to get a NIN ( National Identity Number) will reportedly affect the following:
1. Registration of births, deaths, marriages, etc.
2. Passports, driving privileges, voting rights, access to commercial, academic, industrial, socioeconomic services.
3. After 3 years of not having a NIDS card, you will be fined J$100 000 or be sentenced to community service.
The cost of the NIDS is $US 68.05 million which the Government of Jamaica is adding to the national debt.
Reason for NIDS:
1. Remember vision 2030? Well in keeping with that vision, Sustainable development goal (SDG)# 16 is to promote peaceful inclusive societies..... justice to all etc. It is a sound good trick. I'm sure by now you know who would want such "inclusion" by right?
Also the right to identity is another reason why every citizen of Jamaica will be given a unique number. Question, is your identity different from your identification!
Some concerns:
1. Why such great hurry in passing this bill in hush hush silence?
Most Jamaicans are unaware that the following legislations have been amended for NIDS ( Registration of Births act 1889, Marriage Act 1897, Passport Act 1935, Revenue Admin Act 1985, Jamaica Nationality Act 1962, The Immigration Restriction Act 1945, The Forgery Act 1942 etc. So many laws being amended without us knowing???
2. Why does my choice to take on an identity as a male or female warrant a new identification? And wasn't that question settled at birth?
3. Why will I be punished for not choosing to have a particular ID?
4. Why does the government need my blood type and religion to conduct business, pay tax, travel or go to school?
5. Who will repay this loan?
If the Government of Jamaica is in agreement for us to be used as a lab rats; a test run; or pilot project for a "new world order", shouldn't WE THE PEOPLE say NO and fire them?
Lastly Australia and other countries have rejected this bill and we should too! IT'S A SYSTEM OF CONTROL and we must STOP IT NOW...SHARE THIS FAR AND WIDE!!!!

Jamaica was recently spared a direct hit from Hurricane Ian but our roads and other infrastructure were not spared as flood waters ravaged communities throughout the country. What would have happened if Jamaica was directly hit, and why is the country still not prepared for these kinds of natural disasters even though we get them almost every year? In tonight’s episode of UIC Liberty TV we take a look at the reasons for the country’s unpreparedness and how the UIC would do things differently.

UIC PRESIDENT JOSEPH L PATTERSON RESPONDS TO THE JLP/PNP COLONIAL MASTERS' VISIT by explaining what it means and what we must do to avoid being tricked again. They tricked us into 400 years of slavery and again in 1838, 1944 and 1962. We cannot afford to repeat the same mistake again in 2022! #OneJamaica #StrongerTogether
