Going Out for Pandesal in the Morning - Life in the Philippines
A walk to video houses house and their add-ons in our neighborhood. I just left for my walk and one of my neighbors said let's get some pandesal. Pandesal is a small bread roll great with coffee and and an egg in the morning. There is a street vendor that walks the streets calling PANDESAL He passes through the neighborhood about five AM that carries a basket full of the warm Pandesal fresh breads for purchase. I already had my early morning bread but couldn't resist a second. It is very nice fresh homemade bread every morning. Pandesal is so good I usually don't even put anything on them. To tell the truth, it is probably my fear of addiction that prevents me from putting honey, jam or peanut butter on them.
The security guard has a lot of duties. We have two that share the job of twenty four hour coverage seven days a week. The subdivision security prevents entry of suspicious vehicles until verified by a subdivision resident and prevent any entries at night. They also assist in resolving any emergency or dispute in the neighborhood. ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qj2WewZwB3U
I was going to explain the WHY in the end, but instead decided to do it first. Myra has learned a wonderful art she is fantastically devoted to it. I want to promote an income for her doing something she enjoys. I am hoping to get my daughter involved in the internet / promotional and hard copy part of this operation. She is very artistically oriented and excellent at websites. She just needs a bit more experience. Daryl, I hope to teach to be a webmaster. That is a future here, without a doubt. Darwin can make beautiful papers already.
Philippine Marbled Paper - The website at this time says hello, who and what we are. NONE of our sites are currently PUSHING sales. We have over a thousand two hundred papers in inventory, most are scanned, High resolution 8.5x11 @ 300 dpi. We have four people besides Myra and I that can make paper in designs we wish. However, Myra says that is mine and makes more papers all the time. I have studied and use SEO and we are easily found. http://philippinemarbledpaper.com is easily found on Google by using its products keywords.
PDF Paper Packs - new entity, It will provide PDF files via a multipage PDF file. One of the images will be two labels. It will be marketed as a resource for small stores and craft teachers. The packages will give them unrestricted use to print sell and sell reproduced marbled paper, specialty paper and collage paper products. http://pdfpaperpacks.com has a few product for sale NO PUSH or promotion for sales yet.. It is easily found on Google using product keywords.
Vintage Collage http://vintagecollage.com it is THE STORE and set up as a payment gate way to the other sites.. It is geared to providing digital downloads and receiving payments.
Since I had to learn so much about blogs and html why not give some back http://philippineblogdesign.com . I will give away the store here 90% free I have yet to ask or request a dime. I can walk and talk you into a 100% free blog or website. I suggest blogs the learning curve is small and I can set it up and hand you the keys afterwards. My only request is two links to me at the site of my choosing.
Freehand Jack . My toy and used for experimenting - not many people visit or know of it yet. I am a graphic design artist and http://freehandjack.com is my play ground.
Below is 100% true . and I am doing it. I just play soo hard and in a different way than others.

I have made a minor mention of Connie Santos a couple of times in my videos. Now I have permission I want to say thank you very much Connie. Myra is really dancing around like a kid. She loves raising the chickens and making the videos. We jumped a month or two ahead because of your help. Thank you very much, Connie.
The chickens are a little more than a week away from their 35 days. I never could believe a chicken could grow so fast. The industry I was in was for laying birds so my point of observation was different based on a 24 week to production cycle. To see this 35 days till end of production is fantastic. Myra loves the idea of making extra income and is proud it is working.

This video "Viewer Requested Video Sari Sari Store Filipino Home" shows what improvements can be made to the basic small hollow block homes that are originally purchased here. I have had a couple viewers ask about this house. It started like the standard small hollow block home you have seen in my walks. It has just been added on to a point the original home has lost it's identity. This is the result of many years of additions. I have seen much improvement since I have arrived three years ago.
The original homes almost appear to be from the the same mold. The big difference between original basic homes is the left and right hand ( mirrored ) constructions. Many of the different subdivisions start with the same basic design. When subdivisions are new there is much more regulation of the additions and exterior construction. After the homes are all sold many subdivisions take on personalities of their own. As the restrictions are lifted people start adding their own walls, store fronts and increasing the size with additional floors.
This is the store and home Lala was working and Inday is working now.

Among the many questions I have ask Cris Bamboo one was Why Bamboo wall thickness varies in the bamboo poles. He explains it in this video.
Each bamboo stalk has various thicknesses. The nearer the base the thicker the stalk. With that is consideration when a piece of bamboo is used The first 4-6 feet are are used to make support structure, the next 20 feet as flooring. The thinner walled top section is used as will covering.
Now I understand what the youngest brother told me when he sai. " We look at a piece of bamboo and know where we will use the pieces.

We have a nice setup to work at and are producing 8.5x11 marbles. The effort to learn how to marble has paid off, the marbles are coming out fine. We are doing mostly pastel colors because they are background papers. They will be painted on, drawn on, and stamped to make greeting cards and Artist Trading Cards. The ox gall makes an astounding difference. The paints can be mixed very thin to get a pastel and the paper still absorbs almost all the floating color.

Daryl and Christine are on their way to Makati City. They will stay there until the baby is born. We are a bit rural and they have easier access to help if it is required. Myra is a midwife, in fact she taught midwifery in a private maternity hospital in Makati Hospital. She also does cesarean section births. However, she lost all her medical supplies in the flood. Myra was getting afraid that if Christine went into labor here it would defiantly be risky business.
Christine didn't want to go at first. Then I told her if she had it here I was going to video the delivery for YouTube. She changed her mind ha ha ha h

After Myra's video was finished so Christine took over. After watching Myra it was easy to pick up and finish cooking the chicken for Darwin and Daryl. Myra's recipe is here ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CeoQXQ_LmyY ) Myra and Christine got to try out Myra's new outdoor kitchen. It came out very nice and will add a new ambiance to her cooking videos. Cooking outside is also a very to keep the heat out of the house during the hot summer months. The 'Video set' will certainly turn into Myra's everyday outside cooking area.
