"Something" is a song by the English rock band the Beatles from their 1969 album Abbey Road. It was written by George Harrison, the band's lead guitarist. Soon after the album's release, the song was issued as a single, coupled with "Come Together". "Something" was the first Harrison composition released as a Beatles A-side and the only composition of his to top the US charts before the band's break-up. Its pairing with "Come Together" also marked the first time in the UK that the Beatles issued a single containing tracks that were already available on an LP album.
"Something" drew praise from the Beatles' primary songwriters, John Lennon and Paul McCartney. Lennon stated that "Something" was the best song on Abbey Road, and McCartney considered it the best song Harrison had written.[2] The single topped the Billboard Hot 100 in the United States and charts in Australia, Canada, New Zealand and West Germany, and peaked at number 4 in the United Kingdom. It has been covered by over 150 artists, making it the second-most covered Beatles song after "Yesterday". Artists who have covered it include Elvis Presley, Frank Sinatra, Ray Charles, Peggy Lee, James Brown, Shirley Bassey, Tony Bennett, Andy Williams, Smokey Robinson, Ike & Tina Turner, Eric Clapton, Joe Cocker, Isaac Hayes, Julio Iglesias, Sarah Vaughan and Neil Diamond. Harrison said his favourite version of the song was James Brown's.
"Something" received the Ivor Novello Award for the "Best Song Musically and Lyrically" of 1969. In 1999, Broadcast Music Incorporated named "Something" as the 17th-most performed song of the twentieth century, with 5 million performances. In 2004, it was ranked at number 278 on Rolling Stone's list of "The 500 Greatest Songs of All Time", while two years later, Mojo placed it at number 7 in its list of the Beatles' best songs.

Definitively, #YAMAHA keyboards arranger have a step forward. I played on a lot of different synths, but I usually come back to my TYROS of YAMAHA. After KORG i1, i3, ROLAND VA7, ROLAND BK9, E-A7 even KETRON SD7 or GEM GENESYS.

I'm still waiting the opportunity of a second hand GENOS. Maybe as soon as the GENOS 2 is out. I fixed a reasonable budget.
Definitively, YAMAHA keyboards arranger have a step forward. I played on a lot of different synths, but I usually come back to my TYROS of YAMAHA. After KORG i1, i3, ROLAND VA7, ROLAND BK9, E-A7 even KETRON SD7 or GEM GENESYS. My only remarks in TYROS 4 is the shuttllng between the buttons for the storing, opening or surfing and the vocal harmonizer that has to be improved.
I play and film these finger positions in order to remind very quickly in case I stop remembering.

WIKI Alain Barrière had gained a reputation for being uncompromising and at times difficult to work with. In the early 1970s he left his record company to set up his own label. He kept his fanbase, which ensured his records and concerts continued to provide a good living, despite his being overlooked by sections of the French broadcast media. Barrière married in 1975 and he and his wife opened a nightclub-restaurant in a converted castle in Brittany.
