A Beginner's Guide To Bitcoin:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08RX8Q4ZQIn this video, I discuss the various critiques of Bitcoin as "outdated technology," including:
-- Bitcoin is old tech
-- Bitcoin is Boomer coin
-- Bitcoin is too slow
-- Bitcoin doesn't scale
All of these critiques fail to recognize that money is in its own category.
When you are starting a new software company, it's fine to "move fast and break things."
This approach is not fine when you are trying to create a new base layer of money that is highly reliable, secure, neutral, stable, decentralized, permission-less, censorship-resistant, easy to verify etc.
The smaller the attack surface of your money (i.e. the fewer bells and whistles), the better your money will be.
It doesn't do you any good to have the latest high-tech money unless that money is also simultaneously:
-- Neutral
-- Decentralized
-- Not controlled by a small insider group
Once you understand this, you will see that nothing else comes close to Bitcoin.
