This is a long over due and pretty lengthy How-To viedo on how to take off, clean and put back on your EGR valve by using a sandblaster (which you can get a cheap one at harbor freight) and some baking soda (which is very fine and doesn't harm the EGR) to clean the built up soot when your car throws a code. The codes that may show up on your OBD reader can consist of the following:
P0205C, P0402, P2457, P0299, P0405, P0403, 4B82, 40E9, 4C9E, 4C9F codes.
The OBD reader is bad ass, and updated quite consistently. It has a fantastic user rating and can be had here!

This is the second of 2 videos on installing a light run in my shop off of the existing wiring. The power is going thru the lights to the switch which requires an extra "traveler" wire for the 2nd set of lights so that they are not wired in series. I make the mistake of wiring them in series at first and fumble around a bit as I am NOT an electrician nor is this wiring anything resembling a code installation.

Hey Guys, there is nothing worse than being wayyy up on a ladder and not having the tools you need or spilling paint all over. So I have been doing this to all my ladders (though the others aren't detachable). All in this will run you about $25.

My son is learning to work on cars, and the Mustang will soon be his. He is repainting the front and rear bumper covers as the clear coat has failed. He is also doing the wing. This video is a quick how to on removing the front bumper cover. We would have done a video on the rear cover also, but when we got the idea to film, he had already removed the rear cover and wing. Enjoy!

So, this grinder would have been my Great Grandfathers. In this episode, I learn how to powder coat, of course, my way. I never could get the powder coating gun to work the "normal" way and ended up "hot flocking" all of the parts. Lots of powder coating "info" from me and my experience with very heavy cast iron parts.
I have never seen another example of this grinder in size of wheels (being 10") or casting shape. Stay tuned for part 3! Enjoy!

Guys, this is a long detailed video on rebuilding the outer front hub on the 88 F250. It was pretty easy to do and without complication should only take a few hours.
Enjoy.

We had some very cold nights this winter and I was worried about one of our Goats so I decided to install a heater for their loafing shed. I knew forced air wasn't going to work so I looked for an infrared heater. The one I found at the "Big W" or Wallyland had quartz tubes and was perfect. I hooked it up to a photocell controlled outlet and was off to the races, well sort of.
(No animals were harmed in the making of this video, just yelled at)

I recently added a new set of convenience outlets along the left workbench. I am also powering the LED lights above the bench from the same circuit. This is me installing a switch to control the outlet for the lights above the workbench. Running romex in EMT Conduit and showing the hookup of the switch in the circuit.
Enjoy, Skud.

We went camping for my son's birthday and on the way home, we blew a "hot" side turbo flex hose. The coupler that connects the intercooler to the steel charge pipe. Upon further inspection, I found that there was also a pinhole in the coupler that connects the steel charge pipe to the turbo. After a bit of online research I shied away from the cheap amazon silicon couplers in favor of one offered by one of the diesel aftermarket parts companies online. At the time of this video, the two couplers cost approx. $90.00. I will post a link at a later date. See video for brand.
