Prime - Prima means the first, so this is the first hour of the day from sunrise.
This includes the Martyrology for Saturday 4th September 2021, which is recited the day before, ie Friday 3rd September. In the booklet I mention my Roman Martyrology webpage https://roman-martyrology.brandt.id.au - which is what I usually use, but that only gives the English. If you would like to chant the Latin as I do in this video, you will need either a proper hard copy, or you can refer to https://divinumofficium.com where you can find the anticipated Martyrology each day under Roman Prime.
As I understand it, the Vatican released an updated copy of the Roman Martyrology in 2003. I don't have a copy of that one, so I use a much older version which is in the Public Domain.
You can download your copy of the booklet from

Day 18 of #100daysofchant
This Sunday we have a sung Mass, so this is a good chance to get more practice with the propers. The Communion antiphon appeared on Day 13 (17 May 2022). The Introit on Day 16 (20 May).
Benedícite, gentes, Dóminum Deum nostrum, et obaudíte vocem laudis ejus: qui pósuit ánimam meam ad vitam, et non dedit commovéri pedes meos: benedictus Dóminus, qui non amóvit deprecatiónem meam et misericórdiam suam a me, allelúia.
O bless the Lord our God, ye peoples, and make the voice of His praise to be heard: who hath set my soul to live, and hath not suffered my feet to be moved. Blessed be the Lord, Who hath not turned away my prayer, nor His mercy from me, alleluia.

Day 13 of #100daysofchant
I love this one. Very upbeat and joyful.
Cantate Domino, alleluia. Cantate Domino, benedicte nomen ejus: bene nuntiate de die in diem salutare ejus, alleluia, alleluia.
Sing ye to the Lord, alleluia. Sing to the Lord, bless ye his Name: show forth His salvation from day to day, alleluia, alleluia.

Apologies for the brief cockatoo squawks in the background.
I used a photo from wikimedia to mark the spots :

Some people have expressed concern about the noise - but it's either outside with cockatoos or inside with ear-splitting budgies.
The documentation for the chant should be here:

From Flor Peeter's Little Organ Book.
There's more to Pachelbel than just that canon.
Using the Piotr Grabowski free virtual organ from Poland.

Sheet music is available at IMSLP with the proper title:
Herzlich tut mich verlangen, P.378 (Pachelbel, Johann)
(this is partita 5)

Yes, I fluff the ending. If you'd like to hear it perfect - play it yourself!
