Relaxing DIY Greenhouse built on our small farm in Norway ??
This video has been in the making for the last six months ?️
The first year at our small farm in Norway did not focus all too much on growing things. It was all about carpentry, both in the barn and at the greenhouse.
Most of it was done with recycled materials, so things take a little longer...
We ended up spending about 750$ on this greenhouse build. A price not many Norwegians will have heard of ?

the-best-thing-about-life-in-norway
An exceptional thing about Norway is the way people interact with and make use of nature. It hasn't been anything like this in the other countries that I have lived in before.
In Norway, people have a term for un-motorized outdoor activities like skiing, fishing, hunting, berry picking or just bathing.
It's called "Friluftsliv" and what's very different here in comparison to other countries is that pretty much everybody is into it.
With the fish that I caught this summer, mainly mackerel and trout, a half pig that we bought from a farm that we know, a deer that we got from the neighbor, and a sheep that we slotted with friends, we should be pretty much sufficient in meat until the mid of next season and do not have to rely on buying anything from the supermarket.
From a nutritionist's and a biologist's point of view, this was a very big milestone to achieve and I'm glad that we could do it by moving to the countryside.
The best thing about it though is that these activities have been either social together with other caring humans or in nature, which frankly contributes to human well-being at the same time.

Hej guys, I know that exposing S-Log right can be tough.
But there is a way to get the exposure right automatically and all the time. So far, I have used S-log 3 for all my YouTube videos and it worked all the time.
It should basically work for all Sony cameras but just give it a try and let me know.

Giving out shirts in Uganda was unique - VLOG? ?
Before the trip, I was wondering if I could contribute in any way to help some people with fewer privileges then most of us. I knew I could not do that much but thought at least about a nice gesture ☺️ So I asked Shaping new tomorrow if they could help me out with a few shirts. And as always, the guys we're directly on board ❤️ Two days later, I started my journey with 12 shirts in my luggage meant to make someone's day a little brighter.
It was really important for me to capture how far a gesture can go and make life better. So vlogged every moment of the 12 little stories to include you in the experience :)
So if, you're going to travel to such a country. It's easy to bring something! Even if it's just your old clothes. It will make someone smile, I promise ??

We moved to Myran (Our small farm in Norway) in May 2023.
It hasn't been used for agriculture in a long time and much has to be done to achieve some sort of self sufficiency.
The farm has about 20 acres of land mainly used for raising cattle. There isn't much growing space as of now. The barn is also not in peak condition. With a few holes in the roof and no ridge fittings, it was our highest priority to get everything closed up for the winter.
Maintaining such a big building might be financial pressure as of now but we're on the way to set up the first revenue streams as soon as possible.

No matter where you live, it is all too effortless to succumb to undesirable routines. Our contemporary world fixates on wealth and social status leading us to believe that striving for them is the only way to live a fulfilling life. It is no surprise when nearly every single daily interaction revolves around financial transactions, serving as constant reminders of the pressing need for work and income.
The further we disconnect from the physical nature of what once was human life by sitting in front of screens focusing on paying the mortgage or rent, the easier it is to lose the spark of life that stands for drive, creativity, and joy.
It seems like the only way back is to return to nature, physically. Both hiking does the job for a while but in the long run, it might be wise to reintroduce certain behaviors reminiscent of our hunter-gatherer past and find a place where being in nature is as easy as possible.
