In a Valentines day special we'll be taking a look at playing romance in #dnd and other #ttrpg . Romance and love are some of the worst things you may have to play at your table, but there's no reason you can't have fun. We'll take a look at how love an marriage worked in the olden days, and give some #dmtips on ways to make things less awkward.
Geralt, Yennefer and CIri are back in the follow up to Netflix's 2019 Witcher season 1. The first season was loved by fans, but got a mixed reaction from people new to the series. It seems that Henry Calvill really took fan criticism to heart because most of the complaints from season 1 have been fixed. Let's take a look at the Witcher season 2 and see what what worked and what still needs fixing.

Welcome to the channel for all things Dnd. Yesterday Wizards of the Coast announced their newest Dungeons and Dragons book, Tasha's Cauldron of Everything. This is a similar books to Xanathar's Guide to Everything. It compiles many of the Unearthed Arcana test subclasses from the last year or two along with new spells, feats and magical items. Two other big items of note are changes to the racial system and the inclusion of 2 player games. Scuttlebutt says changes to the racial system seem to remove any uniqueness to the races instead allowing players to alter stats and abilities in the character design process. For example your elf can now be proficient in Strength. This books expands Dnd 5e, without a need to make Dnd 6.
No word on when it will be available on d&d beyond,

In this week's comic book haul we're taking a look at Cobalt by Jake Adams and Erwin J Arroza. This rare cyberpunk is a surprise success for a first time comic creator. The story is reminiscent of late 80s-90s storytelling. It's hard to believe the creator got so many things Things are built up and coherent without over the top violence or sexuality. It's a fun action story that sets up Atlanta of the future. Arroza has a unique visual style. In another book it would be easy to say it's messy, but here it's pitch perfect with the dark near future cyberpunk setting.

Everyone playing ttrpgs love to loot corpses and get that sweet sweet gold for quest rewards. Instead of the predictable sack of gold why not spice things up by having the party get paid in other ways? There's always land that obligates the group to take care of it, or they could get rare items they can use to make potions or armor upgrades.
