Today, Deep Hurts
One of my friends passed from cancer today, I met him at the cancer treatment center where my husband was also being treated for cancer. My husband passed last summer. Hearing of my friend’s passing triggered me deeply, there was this huge outpouring of emotion when I heard the news. It was like reliving my husband’s death all over again. I wasn’t especially close to this man, but his wife has become my friend, we supported each other as we tried to save our husbands’ lives.
Grief has this way of coming at you when you least expect it. All seems to be going OK and then wham you’re in this pool of emotion and gut wrenching sadness. If you’ve experienced a deep hurt, I would guess you're familiar with this as well. There are the small triggers that seem to linger in the background while you try to go on with your day, and then the big ones that seemingly bring you to your knees.
If you’re going through it, you’re not alone, many of us are right there with you, it’s part of our journey in this lifetime. Something we can ultimately learn from.
I’m sending you a big wave of love and healing energy today, and a reminder that God’s love is always with you, no judgment, no pain, just pure love.

I’m being shown a layer of clouds. So if you can see yourself flying... and you come up to this puffy and in some places, dark ceiling. Where it’s dark, you know there may be lightning too because you see flashes here and there. If you look out, you see others flying too, trying to make their way thru the canopy... Some find clear patches, and head straight up super fast, and others are taking their time. Several, just go and head straight for the dark clouds and flashes, while others are searching for an easier way. The thing is, it’s all ceiling but there is something after it, if you find your way thru. That’s why you’re here and what you’re doing here. It’s what we’re all doing here whether we remember it or not. In a Seal song, Crazy, he sings “In a sky full of people, only some want to fly. Isn't that crazy?.... What if this was your meditation?
In this video, I show you one of my daily practices… greeting the day. I don’t greet the day this way every day. And you don’t have to either. Each day, based upon its energy, I’m respectful and greet the day to compliment the energy. That even means that sometimes, I greet the day early or later in the day… when I’m in the right space.
Your spiritual practice is a practice… but it can and should build you, make you stronger and help you to find understanding, peace and balance.
A lot of people say meditating is hard. It doesn’t have to be. What if you could make it easier to tap in? What if “meditating” wasn’t really meditating at all.
Meditation is different for everyone. You don’t have to sit perfectly still or repeat Om over and over again. Simply finding a moment of peace, a time to be with yourself and not be distracted by everyday life is meditative. Your spiritual practice is true to you, what gives you peace, what your environment offers you for personal time.
I hope you enjoy this moment of peace, listen to the birds, let go and stay here as long as you like.

We’ve been through a bumpy ride over the last few days. For many, lots of depression, anxiety, anger and tiredness. Depending on your disposition, you took on this energy and had to process it… and today feels like a bit of break energetically. In this in-between time before the next wave… I recommend you solidify your plans for the next few months. In your mind’s eye, make sure you feel good about the results you’ll receive from this work. Create a feeling around your successful completion. Now that you have this mini-picture of what you’ll be doing over the next few months, you’ll be prepared for the next wave of energy. Having these plans can keep you moving forward during this next bombardment. In the past, it was more about just riding it out. Now, you’ll need to keep working even when you’re not feeling positive or sure any more your direction. That’s why you’re making your plans now so you can focus on the work to get done, and not on analysis. What I’m being shown is that we see snow clouds off in the distance, but the sun has come out right now, so make preparations while you can. When the blizzard comes, you will have what you need close by and won’t have to go out into it for even minor tasks that are made impossible by the weather. Today, you’re moved to action - setting good intentions.
When you’re setting your intentions, the key is to get to the overwhelming feeling and then to stay in that space as long as possible. You may tell yourself a story that allows you to conjure that feeling - but once you have it - you let go of the story because you want Universe to deliver the best possible instead of you trying to craft it. For example, someone would say “I want to grow my business 10% next year”. Instead, be in a feeling where you have achieved that and then say something like: “I want my business to grow as big as I can handle.” Don’t limit yourself to 10%. And why not also add: “Let everyone share in the abundance.” Today shows you there are only two forces - one that repels you to action (an opposing force), and one that pulls you to action. Focus on the desired outcome, not on what you don’t have right now. Answers will be seen soon... Set your intentions now. Much love.

What if you made your goals and dreams a priority? How many people would reap the benefits of you being your best self? Your family, friends, coworkers and the world as a whole would benefit from your joy and fulfillment, wouldn’t they? When we work on being our best selves we lift our vibration and in turn raise the vibration for everyone around us, and this expands out exponentially. If you throw a pebble into a pond there is a small ripple, but if you keep throwing one after another, the ripple expands. Energy works like that, it’s a collective of good vibrations and positivity of everyone on the planet. Your life is meant to be an expression of your highest self, and in order to be that person you have to surround yourself with those who see you for the wonderful person you are and who want the best for you.
