Hacker stole over 336 bitcoins from crypto exchange
Cryptocurrency exchange cashaa just got hacked and lossed over 336 bitcoins.

U.k based crypto currency exchange cashaa reported hackers have stole over 336 bitcoins from one of its wallet.

The Exchange has stopped all its operations to discover the vulnerability in its platform

However no user was affected by the hack nor lossed their funds that was stored in the exchange.

In a interview Cashaa exchange CEO Kumar Gaurav said that one of their wallet was compromised and more than 336 bitcoins were moved to the hackers wallet.

He suspects the hacker was from east part of india and also filled a complain under the cybercrime section in Delhi crime bureau.

Gaurav also told the press that a malware was installed into their computers used to make deposit and withdrawals.

The malware notified the hacker when the employer when employer logs into account and when logs out.

Using the employers timing hacker made two transfers from the wallet which was recorded on the blockchain.

He also added there main motive is to aviod the seller from selling their stolen bitcoins to another exchange.

They also blacklisted the bitcoin wallet that was holding those stolen 336 bitcoin from the exchange.

Other Indian exchange like Wazrix has ensured cashaa that they will lock the hackers wallet and freeze the funds if the hacker trys to sell those bitcoins.
