One Good Turtle Supports National Bullying Prevention Month!
Did you know October is National Bullying Prevention Month?
To celebrate this month, and to continue my efforts to properly educate about bullying via my children's book, One Good Turtle, I decided to do something special. I've partnered with Bermudian Springs Elementary School located in Pennsylvania to put a copy of One Good Turtle in every classroom on campus for the teachers, counselors, and kids to read and to use as anti-bullying resource whenever they like. One Good Turtle is the perfect entertaining short story which teaches the themes of self-worth, empathy, the bystander effect, and forgiveness.
I hope you'll do your part too, and I challenge you to read One Good Turtle with a young one who could use the support and guidance. From special education teachers to business executives, the response to One Good Turtle has been unanimously positive and overwhelming! Whether it's in person or over the internet, bullying is never okay, and it's our responsibility as adults to set a good example for the younger generation and to educate further about bullying. A wispy Earth-directed coronal mass ejection (CME) launch on April 30th is expected to impact the Earth on May 3-4th, and this lines up with a few other notable energetic factors at play include high-speed-streams from two coronal holes that recently opened up, fully loaded radiation belts, and a nearly (94%) full Moon in Earth's plasma-loaded magnetotail. Together these factors are likely to combine to create a geomagnetic storm more powerful than official forecast, most of which are only examining the effect of the CME on Earth's energetic systems.
