How to repair toys using super glue. It quickly bonds plastic, metal, wood, glass and skin. Although very strong and creating an instant bond, Super Glue has a major weakness and that is water. Super glue is not resistant in moist environments and you can use moisture together with light movements to release super glue bond from fingers and skin in general. Repairing a toy car wheel making sure the surface to be bonded is clean and dry. Super glue is designed to be extra strong and especially to bond skin very well so make sure you don't put super glue on your fingers, skin or eyes. If you do get super glue on your skin, wash with soap and water. Use soap and water to wash super glue as soon as possible and keep washing the area until all super glue is removed. If there is some small pieces of super glue left on your fingers, they will be removed during the day as you wash your hands more often. Be very careful when applying super glue and use eye protection to avoid getting super glue into your eyes. Don't inhale super glue fumes and keep a window open when applying super glue. Once an object has been repaired with super glue, keep it for 24 hour before using it as normal. Super glue works really great on some objects and one others it will not work at all. Super glue works well on repairs where there is a large surface contact area and the repaired object is kept dry.
