Filmed on June 19, 2018. My last hike up the Dragon's Back in Hong Kong. Rated the best urban hike in the world.

I got a lot of requests to show the new fence that is going up around the Federal Reserve Building in Washington, D.C. and since I was in the area looking for Governor Abbott’s migrant bus to Washington I drove over to take a look. Yes, there is a fence. It doesn’t go all the way around, just about 3/4 of the way around the building. It’s pretty flimsy, nothing at all like the riot fences we saw at the Capitol or White House, and looks like the ones you see for construction projects. I did some digging on the Planning Commission’s website and found these links:

PenguinSix is an apolitical guy in a political town who likes to walk a lot. He has hiked over 17,000 miles (27,000kms) in the past six years and is still walking today. He is an American expat who spent the last decade in Hong Kong with his family and is now back in Washington DC, continuing his daily ritual of taking very long hikes around the city catching the sights and sounds of the city while live streaming to share with others. History, culture, life as an expat (with reverse culture shock), and the pitiful Chinese food in Washington DC are regular topics of discussion. The Sun came out over Hong Kong today and I went on another hike around the Peak. My normal morning hike for March 21, 2017.

Yea, today was a bit mental. It started with some abortion protestors scaling a construction crane in Washington D.C. and refusing to come down. I then went riding around the White House and National Mall only to encounter the Apollo Command Module leaving the Air and Space Museum on a flatbed truck, heading to storage. I then had to rush over the 14th Street Bridge to see if I could catch a plane on an emergency landing at Reagan National (I didn't). We finished off with a look at the Canon House Office Building where the January 6th hearings were taking place, and a pro-life, pro-green abortion protest at HHS.
I'm tired.

Yea, well, umm, the title basically is the highlight of my day. A pretty quiet ride around the city with not much going on, so I chased a horse.

Time to eat is probably the best title for this episode as I managed to eat as much as possible to help fight off the jet lag. Unfortunately, it didn't really work. Episode 87 or so.
