GHF was an event I could hardly skate the first time I went down, I was doing stinkbug pendys all the way down, but still managed to skate the whole event safely. I learned so much that year thanks to the help of the Landyatchz crew, as well as many other helpful riders, and it's this community of longboarders that keep me coming back. That and the fact that this road has helped me progress so much, and made me the rider I am today. Which evidently still grabs stinkbug sometimes, but is now able to handle myself with confidence, down some very gnarly roads.
