Chuck Rock II - Son of Chuck is a platformer developed by British company Core Design and published by Sega (in Europe and Australia) and Brazilian company Tec Toy (in Brazil). It was also released for Sega Mega CD, Mega Drive / Genesis, Game Gear, Amiga and Amiga CD32.
The game is set in a cartoon version of the Stone Age, with anachronisms, similar to The Flinstones. Chuck, the protagonist of the first game, is kidnapped by the evil Brick Jagger, a rival to Chuck in the field of car production. After the events of the first game, Chuck got a son, Junior, who now sets out to rescue Chuck.
Animaniacs is a puzzle-platformer developed by Konami and published by Konami (in North America, Europe and Australia) and Brazilian company Tec Toy (in Brazil).
The Animaniacs want to start a shop for pop cultural items. They want to collect some famous movie props to sell in the shop, so they start searching the studios for them.
Animaniacs is a puzzle-platformer where you need to make use of the special abilities of all three Animaniac siblings to make it through the levels. You control one of the three at a time, but the other two will follow you. You can always switch between the charcters. Yakko can push and pull certain things like creates, and he can use a paddle ball to stun enemies. Wakko can swing a mallet to break things, activate switches and light fuses. Dot can blow a kiss which will make some characters do things in order for you to progress.

The game seems to have no no story.
You have a standard shot and limiited supply of bombs. Bombs will take a second to hit the ground and only hit things inside a limited radius. You can obtain power-ups by shooting down certain enemies. There are three primary weapons to collect which upgrade if you collect the same weapon again. You loose all extended weapon upgrades once you die. There is also a power-up to get the maximum upgrade to your current weapon or homing missiles as secondary weapon. If you loose a life, you get sent back to a checkpoint, this includes dying during a boss fight. There are no checkpoint right before a boss, you have to go through a part of the level again.
Mercs (known as Senjou no Ookami II ("Wolves of the Battlefield II", 戦場の狼II) in Japan) is a run-and-gun originally developed by Capcom for the arcades. It was ported to the Master System by British company Tiertex and published by Sega. The Master System port weas only released in Europe, Australia, Brazil and Mexico.
The first Senjou no Ookami was released as Commando internationally.
You play a member of the Mercs, an elite group of mercenaries. The president of the USA has been taken hostage by rebels while visting the (fictitious) African nation of Zutula. As the military cannot intervene due to diplomatic reasons, the Mercs are sent in to rescue the president.
The game is displayed from a top-down view. There is no auto-ascrolling, but you have a dense time limit. If you run out of time, it's game over. You also have only one life, but a health bar. You have a gun with unlimited ammo and a limited supply of smart bombs. You start each level with a number of bombs, even if you used all of them in the previous level. You can find ugrades to your shot or other weapons like flame throwers or grenade launchers. In some levels, you get to control vehicles like a jeep or a gunboat.

In the far future, a fanatical group of religious extremists known as the Mondites have begun a campaign of galactic conquest. They believe man has to evolve via the use of cybernatical implants. You take the role of an unknwon man who is taken prisoner by this group. You are brought to a facility led by an evil scientist called Dr. Mastaba. Dr. Mastaba performs experiments to turn humans and other lifeforms into cybernetic creatures, and he also turns you into a hideous cyberborg. When the facility experiences a nuclear meltdown, you get the chance to escape your cell. Now you need to find a way to escape and find out what has happened at this place.
Bioforge is a survival horror game. Similar to Alone in the Dark and later Resident Evil, it uses 3D characters over static 2D backgrounds. Depending on your position in the room, it shown from a different angle.

Jim Power - The Lost Dimension (also known as Jim Power - The Lost Dimension in 3-D, Jim Power or Jim Power - The Arcade Game) is a platformer. It was originally developed by French companies Loriciels and Digital Concept for the SNES, PC Engine/TurboGrafx-16 CD, PC, Atari ST and Amstrad CPC . A port to the Mega Drive/ Genesis was being developed, but cancelled despite being almost completed. In 2021, Piko Interactive developed and published a finished version of the game. A port to the NES was also released.
Ivanhoe is a beat'em up originally developed by the French branch of British company Ocean Software and published by Ocean Software. It was also released for the Amiga.
You play the legendary knight Ivanhoe, and you need to rescue King Richard from the clutches of evil Prince John. Richard is held captive in a castle in Austria, and Ivanhoe needs to make his way all the way from Britain to this castle.
Ivanhoe can jump, slash with his sword and use his shield block attacks. The shield is used use you push any upper direction. You can then hold the shield inseven directions, but you cannot move. You need press fire to leave this defence mode. You can jump by pressing an upper direction while you are not defending.
Some enemies leave behind power-ups. One power up makes you attack in three directions at once, others give you a better shield or shield or sword.
