The Pakistani government has threatened protesters with blocking their digital IDs so they can't access their bank accounts amid ongoing blackouts and intense political upheaval. After one federal minister was openly heckled in a restaurant, interior minister Rana Sanaullah issued the ultimatum as a warning to demonstrators, his cabinet, and former prime minister Imran Khan, who has been encouraging protests all throughout the nation. After Khan accused Pakistani law enforcement and the judiciary of imprisoning and torturing one of his supporters, he was later charged with "terrorism." Unsurprisingly, the charge did not go down well with the current administration and simply sparked new protests. Since Khan was expelled from the cabinet in April as a result of a no-confidence vote, he has been harshly critical of the current administration, with his rhetoric becoming more and more accusatory. The government has retaliated by preventing internet and live television coverage of Khan's speeches. "Today, the fascist-imported government descended to a new low by forbidding TV stations from broadcasting live coverage of my speeches and then temporarily blocking YouTube when I was speaking at Liaquat Bagh. All this after repeatedly intimidating journalists and earlier removing networks from the air, stated Khan on Twitter. The digital media sector and many people's livelihoods are significantly impacted, in addition to being a flagrant violation of their right to free speech. Persistent electrical shortages and rising prices have fueled Pakistani protests, and large-scale demonstrations have broken out all over the nation. Denmark to allow citizens fight in Ukraine Copenhagen has announced that Danish citizens will be allowed to join an international military force that Kiev intends to establish to assist its own troops in the battle with Russia. ""It's a decision that can be made by anyone." This applies to all Ukrainians living in Denmark, as well as anybody who believes they can directly contribute to the war,"", Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen said at a press conference on Sunday. "At first glance, there appears to be nothing in the law that would preclude someone from going to Ukraine to take part in the conflict on the Ukrainian side,", Frederiksen noted. Earlier, the PM spoke at a large protest in front of the Russian embassy in Copenhagen against Moscow's operation, telling the crowd that "it is all of you and all of Europe that are threatened by Russia." It comes after Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky declared the formation of Ukraine's International Legion of Territorial Defense, which will allow foreigners to join and fight alongside Ukrainian soldiers against Russian and Donbass forces. The Danish prime minister isn't the first to advocate for it. Earlier on Sunday, UK Foreign Secretary Liz Truss stated that she would "certainly" back British citizens who choose to participate in military action on Ukraine's side. "I agree with you. Of course, people may make their own judgments," she said on the BBC's Sunday Morning broadcast, adding that Ukraine fights for "freedom and democracy" for the "entire Europe." Crimean Bridge damage caused by explosion. The National Anti-Terrorism Committee reported on Saturday that a vehicle explosion had caused damage to the bridge that connects the Crimean Peninsula with the rest of Russia. According to officials, the explosion, which happened shortly after 6 a.m. local time, partially collapsed the road on the vehicle portion. Additionally, it set off a fire in seven fuel tanks on a freight train that was traveling on a parallel rail section. The committee also stated that "the arch over the shipping section of the bridge has not been harmed." According to Mikhail Podoliak, a prominent advisor to President Vladimir Zelensky, the strike was "only the beginning," since Ukraine has claimed responsibility. According to Nikolay Lukashenko, the region's acting minister of transportation, the government is thinking of starting a ferry service. Bangkok's reopening to be postponed Bangkok's reopening to vaccinated tourists will be delayed by two weeks since most city residents are still waiting for their second vaccinations, despite the tourism ministry's promise to welcome at least 1 million international visitors this year. Bangkok's proper timeframe should be postponed from October 1 to October 15, according to Phiphat Ratchakitprakarn, the tourism and sports minister, because the capital city is projected to have administered Covid-19 vaccines to 70% of its population by then. Currently, 37% of the population has been fully vaccinated, with another 33% in the 8-12 week period following their first AstraZeneca dose. The updated strategy emerged from a conversation between the minister and Bangkok governor Aswin Kwanmuang yesterday about the city's readiness to serve as an inbound tourism gateway. Mr Phiphat said the ministry and the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) had proposed a plan to open only 21 inner districts, but the Bangkok governor said the city should wait until the entire conurbation is ready to participate in the program because of the potential for tourists to be inconvenienced by having to travel across districts. "Quarantine-free admission through Bangkok will help the entire country because tourists normally visit Bangkok first before moving on to other provinces. Tourists can stay in the capital city for just seven days under the 7+7 extension plan, which will be activated at the same time, and then choose from another eight provinces in the trial reopening program as their second choice," Mr Phiphat explained.
