*Sorry for not streaming yesterday guys! I needed a rest after a busy Thanksgiving week. Because I have a bunch of pre-recorded videos, here's a Sunday treat for you! I'll be back with more Pokemon next Saturday where we will capture Mewtwo and complete the game! Continuing my watch of the Black Clover anime with episodes 158-169, which covers the Heart Kingdom Joint Struggle and Spade Kingdom Raid arcs. Where do I even begin with this? Finally, our heroes face off against the Dark Triad, rulers of the Spade Kingdom! Zenon, Vanica, and Dante Zogratis of the Dark Triad each wield two different magic attributes as well as posses the powers of a devil. So much crazy stuff went down in these arcs including actual deaths, plot revelations that were hinted at in the very first episodes, and lots of great action. I have to commend the Dark Triad's voice actors, particularly Patrick Seitz who always does a great job and really fits the character of Dante. We also meet the character Nacht, Vice Captain of the Black Bulls who has been working to undermine the Spade Kingdom from within for many years. Everything has been building up to this moment and then series ends because the anime caught up to the manga! :'( Apparently episode 170 of the anime came out on 3/30/21 which adapts up to chapter 270 which came out on 11/1/20. They are now past chapter 310 and still going strong in the manga, but it got dangerously close to catching up, so they decided to put the anime on hiatus until more source material became available. I will have one more video talking about the final episode as well as some thoughts and predictions for the future of the anime.
