Jesus modeled an evangelism that was both the proclamation of a message and the demonstration of the power of that message through signs and wonders (Matthew 4:23-26). Later as Jesus sends out his apostles (Matthew 10:7-8), He commissions them to demonstrate the Kingdom of God in the same way as they go to new people and new places.
