This video is based on a previous post on the website Odysee that received a few hundred views. I'm translating it to video format because I wanted to be able to share my ideas on YouTube as well as polish up my original post and also I'm aware that it is much easier to consume content that is in a video format rather than a written blog post. This video discusses whether the adoption of various AIs such as Dall-E 2, Midjourney AI, or Stable Diffusion could lead to the artpocalypse and replace artists, and destroy creativity as a result. I personally believe that the adoption of AI art will be detrimental to society's creativity. as a whole, as we will become dependent on AI to create art rather than learn to express ourselves by learning how to draw or other artforms.

Here is a collection of art timelapse/speedpaint/process videos of practice digital paintings that have made within the past few weeks since my viewers seem to enjoy this kind of content on YouTube Shorts. In this video, I make a digital painting of a green apple, a pineapple, a bunch of grapes, persimmons, an avocado, a plum, an almond, and a lime. I made these digtal paintings in the open source digital art program Krita. I hope you find the video pleasant like ASMR and relaxing.
Krita is a free and open-source raster graphics editor designed primarily for digital art and 2D animation. The software runs on Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, and ChromeOS, and features an OpenGL-accelerated canvas, colour management support, an advanced brush engine, non-destructive layers and masks, group-based layer management, vector artwork support, and switchable customisation profiles.
What is cool about a digital art program like Krita is that unlike other digital art applications like Photoshop and MS Paint is that Krita is free and opensource. GIMP is also free and open source, but I find Krita ideal for digital painting.

I just realized that for some reason Odysee didn't mirror this video I uploaded yesterday.
As was brought to my attention by the YouTuber penguinz0 / MoistCr1TiKaL, in 2023, YouTube has significantly modified their advertiser-friendly guidelines to demonetize videos that contain swearing in the first 8 seconds of the video. I miss YouTube before the 2016 adpocalypse.

How to Watermark Your Works Against AI by @magnificoheritage on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/p/CoqpMwdq86s/
While art theft has pretty much always been an issue for digital artists, within the past few years, the significant advancements in technology related to machine learning and deep learning are making it easier than ever for people to steal others' artwork and pass it off as their own art through various methods. One method people are using to steal other people's artwork is by using AI watermark removers to remove an artist's watermark and pass the image off as their own.

Before I was using an outdated version of Krita, Krita 4, so when I updated to Krita 5 I was pleasantly surpised to see that it has a recorder built in to the software, saving me the headache of having a large file made in OBS Studio. Anyway, this is a speedpaint/timelapse of a stylized digital painting of a redheaded woman holding a yellow blossom flower over one eye. I actually surprisingly like the end result, especially the color palette. It looks quite nice actually.
