Godfrey William Bloom (N. en 1949) es un político británico que sirvió como miembro del Parlamento Europeo (MEP) por Yorkshire y Humber, de 2004 a 2014. Fue elegido por el UK Independence Party del Reino Unido en las elecciones europeas de 2004 y 2009, representando al UKIP hasta septiembre de 2013, cuando el UKIP se se retiró del parlamentario. A continuación, participó como independiente hasta el final de su mandato, en mayo de 2014. Bloom posteriormente renunció a su afiliación al partido UKIP el 13 de octubre de 2014.

Los coautores del libro son todos economistas y profesionales financieros, versados en ambos mundos. Y han escrito un tipo muy diferente de libro de inversión, uno que no trata sólo de acciones, sectores, industrias o estrategias complejas de cómo usar el tiempo.

La mayoría de esos gerentes y asesores son peligrosamente ignorantes sobre política monetaria, y no entienden la inflación, por lo que están atrapados tratando de tiempos de auges y recesiones.
