Ave Regina Caelorum - Gregorian Chant - simple then solemn
The Marian Antiphon for Septuagesima and Lent. Well, strictly speaking, it's from February 2 up to the Sacred Triduum. It's the shortest and simplest one, so a great place to start learning.
Continuing this crazy idea to run through the Gospel readings for each Sunday in Latin along with an illustration from a medieval picture book.
Here's the webpage I'm looking at in this video.

Here's the medieval picture book as a paperback:

We sing Compline each night according to the 1962 Liber Usualis.
We started making recordings and publishing them as a podcast. Livestreaming seems a bit complicated and some of our illustrious choir members have been known to stick plastic giraffe toys up their noses, so probably good to focus on audio recordings at this stage.
So, I have taken last night's Compline recording and added in titles and booklet pages.
PDFs and podcasts all available here:

Day 61 of #100daysofchant
UNAM pétii a Dómino, hanc requíram: ut inhábitem in domo Dòmini ómnibus diébus vitæ meæ.
One thing I have asked of the Lord, this will I seek after: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life.

Day 95 of #100daysofchant
Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament is one of those old devotions that sometimes gets taken for granted, but seems to be a bit rarer than it should be.
For learning the words, see this interactive page at Kids Chant:

Day 16 of #100daysofchant
This Sunday we have a sung Mass, so this is a good chance to get more practice with the propers. The Communion antiphon appeared on Day 17. The Offertory is in the pipeline - probably Day 22. The Alleluia defeated me, so I might do a separate video on how to use Chant Tools to simplify any of the propers.
Vocem jucunditátis annuntiáte, et audiátur, allelúia: annuntiáte usque ad extremum terræ: liberávit Dóminus pópulum suum, alleluia, allelúia.
Ps. 65. 1-2. Jubiláte Deo, omnis terra, psalmum dícite nómini ejus: date glóriam laudi ejus. V. Glória Patri.
Declare it with the voice of joy, and make it known, alleluia: declare it even to the ends of the earth: The Lord hath delivered His people, alleluia, alleluia.
Ps. Shout with joy to God, all the earth, sing ye a psalm to His name: give glory to His praise. V. Glory be to the Father.

Gregorio has come along in leaps and bounds. Here I show how to use some of the wonderful resources freely available on the internet to edit Gregorian chant quickly and easily.
I start with the website http://gregoriochant.org which has links to everything about gregorio, then pull a score from gregobase, the extensive archive of Gregorian chant, edit it with the illuminare score editor, then paste the results into a word processor (in this case Libre Office)

When grabbing the clips I found a few more short Kyries, so looks like there's more to this puzzle, but the info in the video has kept me going so far.
The images of the Little Office and Book of hours are from the Internet Archive: https://archive.org
You can find lots of beautiful manuscripts searching for Book of Hours and Use of Rome and things like that.

Day 24 of #100daysofchant
This antiphon is handy for when the Offertory of Pentecost seems too hard. Or for Confirmations.
Confirma hoc Deus, quod operatus es in nobis; A templo tuo quod est in Jerusalem. Alleluia.
Stablish the thing, O God, that thou hast wrought in us, For thy temple's sake at Jerusalem: Alleluia.
