I got it on the second attempt! First attempt was aborted due to the USB subsystem collapsing on the computer, but I think I've narrowed that down to the USB hub I had. New hub installed and all looks good! Highest score obtained: 140900.
First time using a PS2 emulator and it's very CPU intensive, which causes issues near the start of this video.
This is Gradius V, the choice of this season's champion. It's a very good looking and very busy game! My stream score was 223,720 and I think that's where I'll leave it due to time constraints.
There isn't much that hasn't been done with Bad Apple by now but I think this is unique in its own way.
This is how I made this video:
I downloaded the original version from here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FtutLA63Cp8
Then I downloaded the English cover by JubyPhonic from here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FtutLA63Cp8
Next I put both into Kdenlive and made sure the audio was in sync and created an mp4.
Then I used agaconv to convert the mp4 into CDXL format using 3 bitplanes and 28867Hz stereo audio (best Paula can handle).
I copied the resulting file to CF card and slotted that into my Amiga 1200 which has 4MB Fast RAM but the stock 68EC020 and a CF card connected to the standard IDE interface. No accelerated hardware at all.
This video you're watching is the result.
In this stream I played Dead Connection my Taito (1992) for the Mamemeister High Score Kerfuffle Season 12 Champion's Choice.
I can't say I found this to be a fun game. Too repetitive and quite janky. I found it hard, nay impossible to find a way to avoid being shot on the boss levels and as it's a one life game it's a fun killer. Anyway, I did make it to the Level 3 boss but not past, and my stream high score (also my final submission) was 46,170.

One of my all time favourites. I'm not that good on it but it seems I'm not that bad either. It seems to be a bit of a Marmite game and I'm in the Love Camp :)
I play on MAME and MiSTer (mostly the latter).
Stream score was 43,450 and much fun and swearing was had ;)
I've changed the way I end my SID Radio streams on Twitch to include a custom message.
I edit a program using the C64 emulator VICE on my PC, save it to a folder mounted as a virtual drive then copy the prg file securely to my server domain I've set up for the purpose of storing programs for download via my WiC64 interface. I have a fixed program I then load on the C64 (! is a shortcut for the domain path and BYE.PRG is the filename) a boot program that loads the music routine to a spare memory location and then loads the message program I saved and copied across to thank people who have been active during these quiet, background streams.

SID Radio streams are 14:00 - 18:00 UK local time when I'm at home.
Back in the days when playability was more important than graphics, this little gem hit the scene. This is the C64 port of the arcade game Gyruss. In this stream I beat my personal best with a score of 169,800. Almost got to Earth but not quite!
The forum can be found here and welcomes all with an interest in 8 and 16 bit Commodore computers.

This is the recording of my stream playing Bionic Commando for the Mamemeister High Score Kerfuffle, Season 8 Part 2. A brutally unforgiving game that is very frustrating due to a janky game mechanic! Stream high score was 39,260 and that's enough for this pile of bollocks! ?

This is Episode 3 of the LondonRetroVideoGames 8 bit vs 16 bit Challenge in which Lewis will play a 16 bit game then responders will choose an 8 bit game so we can all compare the eras of gaming. Lewis's challenge video is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eBV0Qu6PiCw
Here I play Streets of Rage on the Sega Megadrive as Lewis's choice and I play a kind of related 8 bit game. Which game? Watch to find out. Slight oopsie at the end but it's all a part of the fun ?
Lewis of LondonRetroVideoGames has come up with a new feature. He'll play a 16 bit game and challengers are to come up with 8 bit games that he'll enjoy. He explains it better on his own video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u19LtGvC9CA
Here I play Sonic 2 (his choice) and my choice you'll see on the video.
I hope you enjoy and I hope to improve my side of the format (and thumbnail) when time constraints are not so damned tight! :)
