Here i talk about what i believe is the most important movement people should learn when they start exercising.
The hip hinge is an exercise designed to primarily target the posterior chain, otherwise known as your “backside.” The muscles that make up the posterior chain include the glutes, hamstrings, and low back. This exercise also relies on your core or abdominal muscles to assist in the movement.
When you hinge at the hips, your spine stays neutral and the bend should occur right at your hips. If your lower back is doing the hinging or bending, this will cause pain and reduce the range of motion of the movement.

Today i have made a video on the ever hot topic of fat loss . Or rather the principles behind EVERY successful fat loss Diet .
So if you want to understand what makes or breaks a person's adherence to his diet and overall results , i think its a great idea to keep these 4 things in mind (this would also be useful to know you dietician's competency ,as any successful diet plan HAS to incorporate these principles in some form or another) -
.CICO - The ol' calorie in calorie out story. Though definitely over simplified in today's social media bazaar , the basics of CICO hold well to both science and common sense. Basically - The amount of food stuff you consume gives you x amount of energy , while your day to activities (be it movement , gym or just basic metabolic activities like your heart beating) requires Y amount of energy . As long as X roughly equals to Y , there will be a maintainance of said person's weight. If Y exceeds X , then weightloss is observed over time, and if X exceedes Y , it probably means Gluttony is abound in the person's life (i Kid) . In essence you play the game of adjusting the amount of energy you consume (Y) by decreasing/increasing activity or Doing the same game with the food (X) you consume. Pretty simple to understand and frankly just common sense.
.SATIETY - Now calories are great and all but we all know that not all calories are equal. 500 calories of chicken feels a lot different than 500 calories of chips , one fills you up pretty good , the other leaves you hungry and gives you an achy tummy too next morning (ill let you guess which one is which) . So what foods we eat also matter in the scheme of "calorie counting" so to speak. basically eating foods that keep us full for long times and make us feel super energetic is the goal here. this not only keeps us active and ready to tango , it also drastically reduces the chance for us to crave silly food items that make us easily cross our daily caloric needs These items would be different for different people as a high protein breakfast of meats and nuts might make one person feel amazing , the other nauseous with a wicked case of diarrhoea.
MICRONUTRIENT CONTENT - One of the problems with decreasing calories in the name of fatloss is -we also decrease the total amount of micronutrients in our food. and though we get extra energy from our body to combat the lack of energy we are supplying our bodies , but what about something like B vitamins? or most other minerals and the like? An effective strategy is to introduce higher nutrients food into the diet that at the same time dont increase our calories too much as well . (sea weeds and vegetables are prime examples)
FOOD QUALITY - this is a point that is understood by all intuitively , yet almost never talked about. Choosing minimally processed foods (preferably Organic) is the right choice to ensure we are minimizing the amount of chemicals we're injesting in our polluted little world
