Paneer Golkonda is a royal dish made from soft and tender paneer cubes from the kingdom of Golconda, located in Hyderabad.The key ingredient is the golconda spice mix made by a concatenation of whole spices,sesame seeds,coconut,curry leaves and peanuts.
This blend of spices when added to a cooked mixture of onion and tomatoes and finished with makhani gravy(recipe link below)cottage cheese cubes mixed into this gravy and simmered on low flame and finished with some fresh tender curry leaves.This recipe goes pretty well if you are bored with kadai and butter masala kind of gravies.A garnish of fried garlic added at the end of the recipe just elevates the flavor and fragnance.
